The razor glides across the skin easily. Gives a nice close shave and an added bonus of moisturizing the skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get to try this. I have always used the regular Gillette 3 or 4 blade razors and was happy with how they worked. So when I saw that the 5 blades are supposed to feel and work better, I was a bit skeptical because what is an extra blade really going to do ya know? apparently a lot because the difference in how smooth and gentle this razor works is amazing. This razor even has a metal handle which makes it a bit heavy and expensive feeling. I'm actually going to say this is the best razor I've used so far and that the 5 blades really do work better.

This one makes my skin so stinking smooth and left no nicks on me! The handle has rubberized grips to make an easy no slip grip and is contoured for your hand. I am so impressed with the blades and can’t say enough positive notes about the razor!

I normally just buy the one dollar packs of razors, but I used one of these and my legs are so much smoother and the shave seems to last much longer. It’s totally worth the money. I have to keep it hidden from my husband so he doesn’t decide to use it himself! Will be buying more blades for sure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Venus extra smooth platinum razor has a great weight and grip to the handle. It feels like high quality without the price. Plus the cushion on the handle allows you to have a better grip to reduce the change of dropping it or even accidentally cutting yourself. The blade comes on a separate little plastic container but upon opening it had a strong smell that resembled burnt plastic. I’m also pregnant so my senses are on high alert. The blade cartage attaches to the handle easily and has a nice curve to it. Upon use I discovered that the more shaving cream you have the better because it allows the blade to glide with ease leaving behind nothing but smooth, soft skin. I would say that if you didn’t have enough shaving cream it would catch and you could feel the blade. I also had a hard time trying to get around curves. I feel that the curve of the blade was a little restricted and didn’t fully adapt to curves of us goddesses. Overall it wasn’t a bad razor and still got the job done, although it took longer in some spots.
