Before shaving areas of my body, I apply shaving cream and proceed to use this razor to remove unwanted hairs. The five blades of this razor did an excellent job in removing unwanted hair strands and it leaves my skin feeling silky soft.

The head moves so its easy to get the knees, under arms, bikini area. The 5 blades give you a close shave. I didn't experience any cuts or nicks while using it. Highly recommend , especially for summer!

I wanted something that would give me a smooth close shave without all the knicks and cuts. I can say I have not cut myself shaving not even one time since I switched to Venus. The head has some flexibility and sort of pivots to prevent cuts and the strips at the top and bottom of the blades help with moisturizing and add protection. I love that refillable blades are a thing now! It’s more cost effective, helps the environment and is convenient to always have replacements on hand. I don’t shave every time I shower so my use might be different then yours but each refill lasts me a few months. These refills are well made and I highly recommend them

The handle is on the heavy side which I like but I would pass on this if you rather have a lightweight one. They also make the best blades. The multiple blades make it so easy and fast to use and it lets me get on with the rest of my day. I tend to buy lower price brands but I will pay more for these razors because they work so much better.

The handle has the perfect grip and I do use good amount of shaving cream with it and do hydrate my skin afterwards! It seems to work better in getting a smooth results and avoiding irritation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is heavyweight and you can change the heads. I love this! The moisturizer around the blades lasted for a while and I didn't get any cuts. I pretty much cut myself every shave so this was a surprise. No complaints.

I was using the venus razors that had the soap on them, but found that it was harder to shave in smaller areas so I switched to the extra smooth platinum razor and I love it. This razor allows you to reach smaller areas yet still offers enough protection to prevent cuts and knicks.
