There is a bit of a synthetic flavor and it's stronger in the higher protein chocolate variety and vanilla flavor. This product gave me too many digestive issues, so I won't ever try it again.

I don't have any stomach issues when I drink them and they can be added to smoothies, granola, etc. I've even used the vanilla version for cereal. The 42G packs in a ton of protein. It has a very strong chocolate flavor to me so if you aren't huge on that flavor I wouldn't suggest it otherwise this is a great power drink and definitely helped me feel energized and full through my day !
