I ordered these three times and all three times the containers were broken and leaked all over everything!!! Sam’s Club obviously doesn’t care because I reported it three times and no response!Also,based on other reviews, this has been happening for a while and they still haven’t corrected the problem. How hard is it to wrap the box in bubble wrap or some other kind of padding before putting it in a shipping box???

Purchased the 16ct Dole mandarin orange cups within the last week. Got home, later opened the box for the first time and over half of the individual cups were coated in dirt. Some worse than others. After thoroughly cleaning them off, the next day I foolishly decided to try one. I want to say that I opened it very carefully and had nothing else around it at the time. Being paranoid however, I looked at it with my phone light and found and easily removed a distinct black speck of dirt from the top inside of the cup, below the seal but close to it. There was dirt inside of the cup. I don't what the manufacturing conditions for these exactly, but clearly it's disgusting. This is disgusting. I haven't touched them since. I'm not purchasing these again and am reconsidering what packaged fruit items I buy from all brands and from Sam's Club.

I eat 5 of these a day the best think I have ever had I will be looking forward to my birthday dinner where I am just going to eat these fruit cups! I don’t know what I would do with out them I have gone a week with out them and I thought I was going to die! It was crazy!! I love them so much thank you dole for the best thing my mouth has ever had.

I buy dole fruit cups for my toddler and the last two times I've gotten the mandarin oranges, they've been bad. I checked the expiration date and they didnt expire until next year but several of the cups actually had black things in them (I'm assuming it was mold) and the others just smelled awful like they had gone bad. I wont be buying these anymore.

I am not one to buy apples, peaches etc so these little cups fill the bill. They are sweet but not too sweet, and small enough to bring with me. One review I read didn't like the fact that there is lemon juice included. I don't have a problem with that and believe the product taste sweet, not tart, but that is only my opinion. I buy the large carton that has 16 small cups so I don't run out of them. LOL I have just one concern: Can you make opening the little cups easier? Each time I want to open the cup I have to really struggle with the lid coming off. When it finally opens, the juice squirts all over my counter and sometime on me, as well. I was really happy with these for months and then something changed. Every cup has shredded mandarins or the taste is bad. They are rough. I’m not sure if it’s a quality control issue. I switched to a different company for the last few months and again I tried Dole. Same issues. Until that changes I would not suggest eating these.

I am allergic to many foods including wheat. This is my favorite snack I eat a 12 pack in 3 days but the last batch was shredded and tasted not so great. So I decided to buy a 4 pack this time and got the same result. They taste bad so I ended up throwing them out. Food is expensive and I don’t have money to waste. My hope is this problem will be resolved. I don’t know if this is a machine issue or the fruit. I’m just sad about it. As again I don’t have many treats I can eat.

I have purchased this product for years and loved it! Typically buy it in the 12 pack boxes. But I just got a new batch (4 packs). I kept thinking something tasted off. For I moment I thought maybe they had gone bad because they were so tart (even though I had just bought them). And the expiration dates were fine. Finally I checked the ingredients, and it looks like you have started adding lemon juice. I don’t remember it being in it before. But they are incredibly too sour for my taste now. These were my favorite snack and now I’m forcing myself to finish the pack because I cannot bare to waste it. But please play with this some more. Or go back to the old recipe, please!!

Unfortunately 7 of the cups were moldy and had to be thrown away. 3 were not sealed and the juice leaked out causing all cups to be covered with mold. After washing them all along with the 3 cups,4 had mold that had leaked into them. I won’t be buying them again from Sam’s.

My fiance absolutely devours 2 16 ct boxes a week, easy. They vary so much in prices that coupons should be available more readily. The variety offered is perfect and just small enough to take with you as needed. The actual cups themselves can be washed and used to up-cycle into salad dressing for mason jar salad, or you can use to start seedlings, so its not so wasteful to just toss them out. Other brands offer similar products, but Dole is the only one that is consistent in their quality.
