This is not something we would expect and we certainly understand your frustration. The temperature range for this model is 39˚ F to 60˚ F. Some factors that come into play that may prevent the beverage center from being its coldest are if a large amount of cans were recently added (allow some time for the beverage center to cool these items) or it's possible the door is not sealing properly, in which case you'll just need to clean the door gasket. Try setting the temperature control to MED and allowing 24 hours for the unit to cool before making any more adjustments. You can also clean the door gasket to ensure that the door is sealing properly.
