Clock stopped after 1 day. Replaced batteries and it didn't turn on at all.

Have yet to find the right light in which you can read the Time and Temperature.. not low, high or normal light and zilch for night time

The clock has large display and more information, including outside temperature that works with the included external transmitter. Connection to the atomic signal took a while, had to retry a few times. The only reason I'm not fully satisfied is the viewing angle. When viewed from below, the display shows all numbers as 8. This doesn't happen in another brand clock. I can view from any angle.

I bought the clock about 3 weeks ago. Set up was relatively easy once you go through the instructions. I now have 2 outside thermometers, one from a previous purchase and both thermometers are within one degree of each other and confirmed with a weather website. The numbers are large and can be read at a distance. My only issue is that there is no back light which would provide some light to see the information on the screen and just enough light not to bang into something while walking to the bathroom in the dark.

I needed to replace an old unit, different brand, but very similar to the La Crosse, that had stopped reading the outdoor temperature. I had replaced the remote transmitter 10 years ago. The old one's transmitter just failed again. It took about 5 minutes to setup the La Crosse. It synced to the WWVB signal automatically after about 5 minutes. It needs a total of 5 AA batteries, which it does not come with. I placed the transmitter next to the clock and the temperatures were identical. The clock and temperature indicator work great.
