I’d bought one years ago at Sam’s. The outside transmitter failed; bought just that before and it worked. This time, just decided to purchase a new clock. These are great for the bathroom; so I know the weather, as I dress for early morning golf in season!

This is a big clock with big numbers -- you can read it from the opposite corner of a large room. That being said, I would have made the digits a bit narrower, allowing a little more space between them, to make the numbers easier to read. This clock works well -- pop in 3 AAs and it starts right up (remember to put batteries in the outdoor sensor first, or the clock won't recognize it). You can easily set it completely, but usually there's no need for that. I just set the timezone, and the clock synchronized and set itself correctly within four minutes. Another plus: the seconds readout, which this model's predecessor lacked, and so long as the clock successfully receives a packet from WWVB every 24 hours, you can trust it. The indoor thermometer seems accurate so long as you place the clock in a draft-free location. If there is an HVAC register pointed toward it, even from across the room, that can affect the temperature reading by several degrees. The outdoor thermometer also seems accurate, provided it is protected from direct sun and moisture. Overall, it's a good clock, and I hope it lasts a long time.

Great atomic clock. my only complaint is it does not have 24 hr time format like my 30 year old one that just died.

I love the look but it doesn't give weather details like my smaller plug in version.
