If it wasn't for the cat hair float around, you wouldn't even know I had a cat. You can't detect a hint of an odor even right after he has urinated. We live in a 5 room, shotgun style apartment and only have space in the living room for his box. It's not the most supreme place for it especially if you are having company but the the fresh step extreme litter it is no issue. I will never have to try anything else.

One of our two cats refuses to use this litter because of the strong scent. We originally didn't realize it was the scent that was causing him to go outside of the littler box. We started using puppy pads around the box so he wouldn't go on the floor. After a couple of weeks, we went back to using the unscented or original scented litter, and he started using the litter box again.

With multiple cats I have found it to be a struggle to find a good quality cat litter. This cat litter is by far the best. Love fresh step.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not the only one who likes the fresh step extreme. My cats fight every week on who gets in the litter box first after cleaning. Crash step is the best litter I have ever tried and I have tried many. It doesn't even stick in THIER paws like some do. I would never switch. One 14lb box lasts a week for two cats with daily scooping. It's perfect.

The litter itself is good, we switched to unscented. The Febreeze scented litter made the entire apartment smell like heavy perfume and caused headaches. Some people are more sensitive to fragrance than others so it's a subjective claim, but it was definitely too overpowering for our small space.

It seems that I have tried every single clumping litter out there and all of them seem to fall apart when you scoop them. My best friend told me that this is the only litter she will use for that very reason. I gave it a try and now I am hooked! No other is good enough for my bundle of fur! Best litter I have tried in over 20 years!

I absolutely love that I can only smell the wonderful febreze scent every time my kitty uses her litter box. I don't have to deal with the pungent odor that cats typically leave behind. Also, it clumps perfectly, leaving easily scoopable patties and my cat likes it too :) I have tried many types of cat litter and this is BY FAR my favorite one!
