I have had cats my entire life, and currently have three. I have tried a bunch of different brands of litter, but nothing compares to Fresh Step. It's the only product I've found that covers up the litter box smell (I clean it daily), and the litter and fresh scent lasts for a long time. It's also low dust which is nice.

I've gone through so many different brands and varieties of litter trying to find one that I truly like, and I've found it. The Fresh Step with Febreze line of products are amazing and hiding litter box odors, which is a great thing when you have four cats like me!

Since they are house cats I need good odor control & glumping strength with low dust and litter tracking. I tried the extreme strength on a whim. It's the answer to my prayers.

It was great in controlling odor and had very little dust when changing it. I hate products with tons of dust or fragrance so this really worked for us. I didn’t feel as though I had to change it constantly, just scoop it out daily. When I did change it, it came out of the box easily without a ton stuck to the sides of the litter box. I didn’t have to wear a mask like I usually do when changing lol. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with kitties. A+

I've been using Fresh Step clumping litter for my cat for many years. This latest formula lives up to it's claims for odor control, absorption, and low dust. It clumps very tightly which does make for more thorough scooping without leaving too many particles behind. I think because of this, I have to replenish/change the litter more often than I needed to before, but hey, who doesn't want a "fresher" litter box! My 15 year old kitty deserves it :). Using more means having to buy more often though, so keeping the price down would be much appreciated. As with all clumping litters, there's still some tracking after use, but overall, it's a great product. I won't buy any other but Fresh Step.

I've used this type of cat litter for years and will never switch. I've used it for my two cats, but also when I have lived with more in the past. It holds up well to multiple uses and it doesn't have that stale cat box smell. Most people wouldn't know that I have cats when they walk into my apartment, despite my cat litter station being so close to the front door. To me, that is the true test of a good cat litter product.

Ever since they changed to the febreeze line and lower dust, this litter is useless. I've been using the original extreme line for years because my house didn't smell like cat urine and feces. All the stores around me only carry the febreeze or the unscented lines. Neither one can control the scent. I only have two cats, and the smell is overwhelming my house now. The clumping isn't nearly as good, so it's really hard to clean the box. If one cat urinates near another previous urine spot between cleanings, they all stick together in a huge mass because it doesn't clump as good as before. It's really disappointing that I had to switch to a different brand that clumps better while I try to find the original extreme or triple action lines in a store. I'll probably have to resort to shopping online which is disappointing.

I used this litter for quite a few years because it was the best working litter I had found at the time. It has a nice scent and covers most of the urine and feces odors nicely. My only complaint is that it didn't clump as tightly as I would have liked. If I forgot to scoop the litter box at least once a day, the wet litter would sort of congeal to the bottom of the box at which point it would become difficult to remove. I have since switched to another brand which works much better in my opinion.

I have used Fresh Step for years and thought it couldn't be beat. Fresh Step has beaten itself in odor control with the Extreme litter with Febreeze. Cleanup is easy as it clumps well and holds tight. There is very little tracking when kitty leaves the box. This is the best litter I have used.

My two shelter (litter mate) kitties (now 1.5 yrs) have unbelievably strong BMs and apparently always will. After multiple vet visits, diet changes, prescription diets and even eventually settling on a "limited ingredient" diet as well as trying every single kind of litter that promised to get rid of "litter odor," this has been the only thing that's worked. Sometimes it can get a little bit too dusty and it's not the cheapest litter option, but it's definitely worth it and I don't see myself changing litters ANY time soon!
