I hate to say, but this caused Grady to have a allergic reaction. he broke out not too long after we put this in his litter box. So a few trips later and we think we have taken care of it. it may have been coincidence that he got a skin infection, but the vet seemed to agree with my thinking.

This was the very very best litter you could buy, it cost more but was so worth it. The entire formula changed. The biggest feature of having that perfumey odors for many days is gone. Next day the litter box stinks. Also the granules seem to be absorbing the moisture in the air as it looks more like clay after 2 days in the areas never having any urine on it. There is no way I am staying with this product after 8 long years of loyalty and will save a ton of money to get something equivalent to the performance of this

I do not see much difference from the other FreshStep products in this area though. It clumps very well but my cats track it through my house. This is probably my most preferred product.

Beatrice loves to dig into the litter box and cover everything. No tracking and I absolutely love the way it smells. Will be buying again!

I have 3 cats, and 3 boxes. With my busy schedule, sometimes (and yes, I will admit it) I have been known to let the box cleaning for a couple of days. I have not had a problem with odors with the fresh step extreme. It is an ingenious thing. Especially with a male cat. I have used this product for 20 years. I have tried other litters but I have found none that compare to keep my house odor free.

I switch from Freshstep regular Scented Multi Cat Scoopable to the new Freshstep - Extreme Scented Litter with the power of Febreze four weeks ago. I have four cats and use two litter boxes and I clean them once a day. I have notice that the smell of the house has improved dramatically to a more pleasurable scented smell compared to a dirty clay smell of the old regular Freshstep. I also have noticed that the litter has lasted so far for four weeks and I have not had to replaced the litter totally, I have had to just add more litter to fill the box up. With the old liter i was replacing it totally every fourth week even with adding to fill the box, the l;itter would begin to smell like urine and feces. I am so far very pleased with the new Frebreze Freshstep and intend to purchase more of it as my cats also like the litter and they are very picky cats!

I was using another kind of cat littler and it still smelled, especially when I was cleaning cat box (even though I clean my cat box every other day). Now when I clean the cat box I can breath without a rag over my face and it's so easy because it clumps up for you.
