I just purchased the "extreme" version of this, and it works so well. I keep the litterbox in my room, so it's very important to me to have a deodorizer litter. This litter manages to not only minimize the foul cat smells, but it even smells good. The Febreze in the litter is super great. Not to mention, my cat loves it! Just switched over from arm and hammer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this liter since it came out and my cat Noah and I love it. His litter box is always nice and fresh. It's super easy to scoop and clean and I never have a problem with a cloud of dust.

I have been using FreshStep for almost 10 years and I LOVE it! However this new febreze kind does not work! I would clean the litter one day and the next day I would smell it throughout my house! I actually bought 2 bags of this kind and ended up returning the other for the original freshstep. I just hope they don't stop selling the original because if they do, I am going to have to change litters.

Prior to switching we spent a great deal of time keeping the litter pan clean, but with the Extreme formula it’s so much easier. Low to no dust, no overwhelming urine smell, and great clumping. I highly recommend it to anyone in a multi cat home.

I’d always used the regular Febreze scented FreshStep litter, but decided to try the Extreme Scented Febreze FreshStep because my local store was out of the regular. My cat wouldn’t enter or use the litter box. For the first time since I’ve owned her she soiled the floor NEXT TO the litter box instead of inside of it. Once I was able to change the litter back to the regular Febreze scented she once again used the litter box with no problem. Just writing this to maybe let owners with older, finicky cats that maybe the extreme scent isn’t the best choice. Tried this new product two days ago & can't stand it. The Febreze scent is way too strong. One of my cats has been sneezing a lot since starting it & another one urinated outside of the litter box. I don't want to buy unscented, I'd love a light scent. I miss the old extreme litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our cat has diabetes and therefore uses her litter box a lot. This is the only product that is able to clump well enough. It keeps odor to a minimum and now that the dust has been reduced, it is a lot better when pouring it into the litter box.

I started using this about a month ago. With 5 indoor cats, the litter box is a FULL TIME Job!! I used to use Tidy cat, Arm and Hammer clump and seal and Scoop Away. Sometimes I would even mix them in every attempt at odor control so I wasn't always having to scoop the litter box out 2-3 times a day. I have so many better things to do with my time. Even after scooping out the litter box, I would still have a less desirable odor hanging around in the house. Then last month I saw the Febreeze label on Fresh Step Cat litter. I decided to pick it up and give it a try. HOLY MOLY! I now only have to scoop my litter box out every 2-3 days. It literally clumps the odor in. The other nice thing is the clumps remain separate from the good litter. When you scoop out the litter box, the litter that remains is good as new as if you had just poured a new box in. I will NEVER use another cat litter again. I literally stand in the pet isle of the store and when other customers come and stare at the litters (like I used to do) in attempts to figure out what they will purchase this week, I tell them, hands down, there is no debate. The price is the same or even more inexpensive especially now that I don't have to purchase all of the powders, deoderant cubes or even the Febreeze plugins in attempts to mask odor. My 5 furbabies are much happier, most of all. Thank you for this amazing product!!!
