[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats, Cali age 4 and Cici age - one calico and one tortie- both tabbies tend to be finicky. We had to change location of their 2 litter boxes. As long it was the Fresh Step Extreme, they found it easily. The fragrance isn't over powering with just enough scent to obscure the natural scent .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Extreme Febreze Fresh Step the best of all brands of cat litter. The cat pan used to smell terrible if we didn't clean it for a day. Now, we can go a few days without cleaning the pan. I only gave it four stars because it is still a bit dusty. I wish it had less dust. But it is the best product available.

I am really pleased with how well this neutralizes odor. Also, the clumping capability of the product makes it a lot easier for daily cleaning. I am impressed how long it actually works. The dust truly keeps to a minimum, and my cats do very well with this. Very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this litter for years! No one can ever smell that I have 2 cats in my home. When I pour it in their boxes I can breath freely because there is no nasty urine smell and there is very, very minimal dust!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use Fresh Step clay litter and I absolutely love it and so does my cat. The other day my husband did the shopping and bought this product instead of my usual. The first time my cat used it, I tried to scoop and the litter was like concrete. With the clay litter I change it every Sunday and scoop throughout the week and it still looks fresh when I change it.

I was nervous about trying a new type of Fresh Step, ( I use the regular non-clumping kind). However, my cat did not seem to mind. I do feel like the extreme scented blend masked odors for longer however I would like to try an even stronger kind. Overall, I would try it again

I have kitty who charmed her way into my home and then proceeded to have 4 beautiful kittens 4 weeks later. For some reason, altho she has had all her shots, etc., She and her daughter I kept, have the strongest odor in their box that I have ever experienced. I bought the Extreme at a local dollar store in an emergency situation; I didn't feel like going to the grocery, but I needed to freshen their box. So, I tried the extreme and I was so surprised that it completely eliminated their malodors! And the kittys seem to know it! When I freshen it up after scooping every day, they both rush over and just check the box out. Like they are making sure that the box smells good. And of course, my home smells better from the kitchen to the living room and the dining room (where the box is located.)

This is so not the litter I have used for over 10 years. I am so disappointed in the change. The oder control is a negative and after a few uses in Litter Box by cat, the oder from cat is so noticeable. I use fresh step liners as well. This was not the case with this Fresh Step years ago. Clorox needs to re-think this and go back to the original Fresh Step with great order controI. Has such a tiny amount of blue Crystals that control oder. This "Fabreze" Fresh Step does not work and I had to purchase an additional bottle of Fresh Step Litter Box Deodorizing Crystals to shake over the Fresh Step Extreme Fabreze in cat box, to get the cat oder down. It appears Clorox has cut back on there Crystals that control oder in Fresh Step Extreme. Is Clorox now asking consumer to purchase a bag of Crystals to sprinkle over the cat litter to offset their cutback? How sad that this is no longer what it once was and the ratio of crystal to litter has diminished.

I've been using FreshStep exclusively for years & the newer products with Fabreze are even better. I have 2 boys that produce an astonishing volume of litter box goodies and Extreme with Fabreze. This is a little more perfume-y scented than, say MultiCat, but I like the smell & none of my cats (current or no longer with me) have never had ANY issues with it. I scoop at least once per day (aim for 2, but life's busy) and I never smell anything in the laundry room. It's a little less dusty than it used to be, too ... but that's something that could still use a little improvement [with all litters].
