[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love fresh step cat litter. It's the only brand we buy. The litter works great but I have allergies and the febreze scent was just too strong for me. That's the only reason I can't use this litter for my cats.

I’d always used the regular Febreze scented FreshStep litter, but decided to try the Extreme Scented Febreze FreshStep because my local store was out of the regular. My cat wouldn’t enter or use the litter box. For the first time since I’ve owned her she soiled the floor NEXT TO the litter box instead of inside of it. Once I was able to change the litter back to the regular Febreze scented she once again used the litter box with no problem. Just writing this to maybe let owners with older, finicky cats that maybe the extreme scent isn’t the best choice. It has a very strong smell that some cats may find it hard to accept and may object to...

I am very pleased with this kitty litter. My current cat is the first indoor cat we've had and I have a thing about trying to ensure that we have the most unstinky litter box possible. I love that this litter both clumps and smells great. My girl seems to like it also. It keeps her clean and dry and the new Febreeze scent seems to not just mask any unpleasant smell, but to completely remove it. Give this litter a try and you won't be disappointed!

We just adopted a 1 yr. old cat and the shelter sent us home with a bag of non-clumping, unscented liter-yuck! We immediately went out and bought Fresh Step because of how well we knew it clumped from having a cat years ago. We also love the febreze scents that are available and do a great job at keeping odor to a minimum.

I have purchased this with my friend at Sam's Club in the past and it has been wonderful. I would purchase it all the time if I was a Sam's Club member. My cats' boxes can usually go an extra day or two by using this Fresh Step product as it clumps better than most generic brands. I would highly recommend this product for purchase. The Febreze smells wonderful. The price cannot be beat as well. I probably should have stocked up on more of the product! I will next time.

I have 3 cats and it seems like one or another of them is ALWAYS in the litter box. This Fresh Step clumps well, has a pleasant smell and masks the odor of the litter box very well. It's easy to pull out clumps and it seems like it lasts longer than other brands. It does track quite a bit, though, and so I feel like I do have to clean up errant litter often. Otherwise, it's a great product.

My elderly cat has failing kidneys and requires a strong litter that is easy to scoop and keeps the odors down. I've previously used unscented litters, since that was her preferred type, but she has been a little more flexible in her old age and I've been able to use the Extreme Scented with Febreeze. It definitely keeps the smell to a minimum and works better than the unscented variety! It's a little dusty, but show me a litter that isn't and I'll show you a useless, non clumping litter!

Now that I made the switch even my picky relatives can enter my room without the whole "OMG" expression. We love this litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this before I went on a trip because I needed to set up an additional box for my cats...not because of them but because I figured my daughter would forget to do the litter box. I used three of the bags filling two xl boxes. I was gone for 12 days and the boxes were scooped clean when I got home. The boxes still had more than 1/2 the original litter in them and no odor at all!
