I have used Fresh Step for several years, and wouldn't use anything else. I have tried other litters, and always gone back to Fresh Step. We foster for our local no-kill shelter, and they do not use it, but we use it while we are fostering kittens & cats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bag says "febreze EXTREME", but thankfully it doesn't have the gross smell which other products containing febreze often have, (ex: laundry detergent with febreze, Mr.Clean with febreze, etc.). Our cat is OK with it, and visiting family members swear that our house has NO "cat-aroma". My only complaint is: our Route 31 Clay, NY BJ's Warehouse Club keeps changing the types of Fresh Step they carry. (This one is presently not available, with Fresh Step Triple Action being the only choice at this time.)

You can't even tell that there is a litter box in the house! Absolutely no ammonia smell from urine ever using this product. So very satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Fresh Step litter since 2002 when I brought my first kitten home. I have used all of their types of litter and was never disappointed. I did make the mistake of trying other brands wanting to save money and always regretted it. Others claim to have the same qualities...but they don't. No matter which Fresh Step litter you try you will be happy. It does eliminate odors and I haven't had a cat yet that didn't like it.

I have multiple cats and I only have room for one cat litter box so I bought this brand of cat litter with Extreme scent. After a week of using, I could not smell urine or any other scents, just clean scent (among other scents around, i.e. candle, laundry smell and more). The urine clumps really well together with the litter, allowing for ease of scooping with little mess falling onto the floor. Before using this brand, after 2 days, the smell would be noticeable and I had to use a lot of scented candles to cover up the smell, even though I scoop out the waste daily. This is a truly fantastic product and I finally can rest knowing that I can welcome any friends over without worrying about the smell.

The litter boxes (one in the basement and one in our back room behind the kitchen) basically don't exist! Usually, there's a stronger smell while cleaning the box out or if I forget about it for a day or two since they're hidden, but there's no smell at all with the Extreme! We love it! Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this litter for years! No one can ever smell that I have 2 cats in my home. When I pour it in their boxes I can breath freely because there is no nasty urine smell and there is very, very minimal dust!
