[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Fresh Step for several years now and have always been pleased with the way it clumps and how the scent seems to cover the smell, that is, if your cat covers his doo doo. One of my cats, however, started losing for on his legs. I was concerned that it was the new Febreeze scent. The fur has grown back, for the most part, but he still continues to groom his legs more than usual. We are still pleased with Fresh Step.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Fresh Step cat litter for at least 10 years. Tried a couple of times to switch to another brand but found those brands did not compare to the quality of Fresh Step. Never will switch again!

I don't know what they use but it seems to clump harder that almost any other brand and controls odor much better than anything else I've tried. Dust is always an issue, but even that is lower than other brands I've used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have tried the Fresh Step litter several times now, which contains Febreze. I wondered at first if my cat would like it, due to the scent. I loved the scent, so we tried it. My cat immediately went into her box, checking out the new Febreze scented littler. She dug around, and she has had not issues. She loves it! A win-win in our household!

We are not as happy with this as we were with the old stuff, w/o febreze. We prefer the other one, only due to it lasting longer. This one seems to maybe clump easier- but it does not seem to cover the smell as much and it goes away faster- so we have to buy more. I do see the benefit of it clumping more, but we never noticed the other smelling bad if we kept it clean. This one we have to buy way more often. So, pro and cons.

Does a good job of covering up smells. It is very dusty though which is something I didn't have to deal with regarding the litter I used before this. I would not recommend this to anyone with a sensitivity. I honestly may switch back to my old litter because of it

I've been using this brand for awhile now and I switched over to the light weight a few months ago. So happy they came out with a new lighter product. Smells so fresh! Plus lower dust than I've had with other products. I definitely recommend Fresh step light weight extreme with febreze!! I used to have two cats and it works well with multi cat households also.

I bought the Extreme litter with Febreze for the first time last month. We like how it controls odor. Plus, it has incredible clumping power, particularly since our cat loves to go in the same spot in her box. Both my husband and I work, so we can't always scoop immediately after she uses her litter box. The fact that she can go in the same place in her box throughout the day and the clumps stay is amazing.

I have used Fresh Step for years and am always happy with it's quality and odor fighting capabilities. Not disappointed I've been using this for about a month now and it really does control even the toughest odor. Great addition to already great line of litter products.

My two shelter (litter mate) kitties (now 1.5 yrs) have unbelievably strong BMs and apparently always will. After multiple vet visits, diet changes, prescription diets and even eventually settling on a "limited ingredient" diet as well as trying every single kind of litter that promised to get rid of "litter odor," this has been the only thing that's worked. Sometimes it can get a little bit too dusty and it's not the cheapest litter option, but it's definitely worth it and I don't see myself changing litters ANY time soon!
