I was using Arm & Hammer litter but we could still smell the litter boxes. So, I bought the giant box of Fresh Step and now we don't smell a thing. You wouldn't even know we have 2 cats. It's a bit dusty when pouring, but less so than other cat litters I have used.

I have kitty who charmed her way into my home and then proceeded to have 4 beautiful kittens 4 weeks later. For some reason, altho she has had all her shots, etc., She and her daughter I kept, have the strongest odor in their box that I have ever experienced. I bought the Extreme at a local dollar store in an emergency situation; I didn't feel like going to the grocery, but I needed to freshen their box. So, I tried the extreme and I was so surprised that it completely eliminated their malodors! And the kittys seem to know it! When I freshen it up after scooping every day, they both rush over and just check the box out. Like they are making sure that the box smells good. And of course, my home smells better from the kitchen to the living room and the dining room (where the box is located.)

I have tried many of the other brands that say they control odor but they left me dissatisfied by the odor left behind after my cat used the litter. Fresh Step is amazing, no odor after my cat uses it and I don't have to change the litter as often. One time I didn't change the litter for a week, just scooped daily and I still didn't smell an odor. Love my Fresh Step, it's perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 cats, one of whom is a geriatric female who has a supplement of kitten milk replacer to help keep her weight up, and it causes some pretty stinky poop. Like... wear a gas mask when you scoop type. BUT! the Extreme Febreze litter has been extremely effective at controlling the odors. Even my husband who can smell a dirty litter box from a mile away cannot smell anything with this new litter. Great product!

I originally used another product and although I cleaned their boxes sometimes three times a day, I still felt it left a smell behind.I switched to Fresh Step extreme over a year ago and I wish I had used it all along. I love walking in from the outside into my home and not being able to smell litter!

I have six cats so it's hard to find a litter that holds up to all the uses and keep odor under control. It is never moist and mushy, it holds in the liquid well and stays dry and clumps well while providing odor control. Haven't found a better litter brand!

I have 3 cats and they will only use fresh step. I have tried to buy competitor brands if I am in dire need for litter and my brand is out of stock but they get very upset with me. This litter is the best of both world... great for scooping and keeping odor to a minimum and my cats seem to like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter is really good for when you have multiple cats! I always use Febreze spray in my home, so why not have it in your cats litter to hide bad odor! I never have to worry about having company over because this stuff works 100% of the time!
