The litter itself performs well, but the added Febreeze scent makes our cats sneeze and they shy away from the box if we don't mix it in with the unscented litter. Our local store seems to only carry the Febreeze now, so we'll have to find another source of Fresh Step, which remains our preferred brand (assuming we will be able to find the unscented variety soon.)

This is normally the litter I purchase because my cats litter box is located in my bathroom since I don't really have much space to keep it out of the way. This litter definitely does a great job of keeping the odors away. It took me trying out about 3 to 4 different brands & scents before I found this one that actually does what it says it's supposed to do. I definitely recommend this brand & scent to anyone who has cats & doesn't want to be able to smell the odor that comes along with having a litter box in close quarters.

While I was in the hospital a friend thought she was doing me a favor (Saving some money) and bought a different brand... the instant I entered my home I knew. There is no comparison... Fresh Step is the only litter I will ever use. My friend agreed that the $.50 savings is not worth the smell in your home. She changed her brand to Fresh Step!!!!!

I have used the Extreme litter for years now and it is still a favorite for how well it clumps. Now that the Febreze has been added, the odor control is even better. I am always very pleased and my old kitty is as well. Old male kitties need special litter and this works well for him. All of the Freshstep clumping litter products work well for us.

This is the best version of the Fresh Step chain so far. A far improvement from the much dreaded "Lightweight" version (please do not make anything like that again). This new formula with the febreze has better odor control and lasts longer without having to change out the old litter than previous similar products made also by Fresh Step. My cats seem to love it, although they seem to be bothered by the perfume slightly when I first pour in fresh clean litter. Other than that, I am happy. I keep my cats' litter box (2 use the same box) in the bathroom, and when I go into the bathroom, it smells clean. With any other brand name, it wouldn't; Fresh Step makes the best litter for happy cat owners.

The clumping power and then the added clean smell from Fabreze. At the bottom selection for received free product my answer if no not yes and I couldn't figure out how to change it.

With 4 cats and only 2 extra large litter boxes, this new extreme febreeze litter keeps the smell away for a long time. Even when the littles don't like to cover their business ;) I would prefer a non - scented for less *chemicals* in the litter but overall am happy with this.

I just brought this a few days ago and I'm hoping it lasts better than other litters. I've tried multiple litter boxes and now litters trying to keep litter from tracking everywhere. I even tried Pretty Litter which did not last up to a month like advertised as it started to smell awful. I hope this helps!
