[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been buying this litter for the past 14 years...first for our previous cat and now I continue to buy it for our current cat. It does a great job of clumping for easy clean-up and smells wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 2 cats that use the same litter box - have tried several formulas but this one is best for odor control. Still rather dusty and comes out of their paws so those are areas that could be improved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 14lb box,it fits perfectly in the corner style litter box i purchased from wal-mart.Low dust,great smell and lasts a long time! My cat's prefer Fresh Step brand litter over any other brand on the market,we have 7 cats and 3 litter boxes and I have tried most all litters out there.I will only buy Fresh Step!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I are both cat lovers and she feeds outdoor strays. She would find litters that were abandoned for reasons we didn't know. We fed and raised the kittens and found homes for most of them. We didn't find homes for all of them so our home became full of cats and they became family. We love your Fresh Step Extreme. It keeps our home fresh smelling and is so easy to scoop. We never buy any thing else.

The litter itself performs well, but the added Febreeze scent makes our cats sneeze and they shy away from the box if we don't mix it in with the unscented litter. Our local store seems to only carry the Febreeze now, so we'll have to find another source of Fresh Step, which remains our preferred brand (assuming we will be able to find the unscented variety soon.)

With 4 cats I really needed something that could hold smell at bay until we could change the litter every night and not make my house smell with 3 litter boxes. The febreze smells alright it so strong its all i can smell on day 1 but day 1 is all you get. My cats hate the smell and will go to the bathroom someplace else.I do have the say even after the smell was gone as long as we changed the box every night or the next morning i never smelled anything from the cats which was great. It is so not dust free !!!every time i put some in the litter boxes or my storage box dust flies all over its so bad i have to keep my kids who have asthma away. All the litter boxes we own have hoods and we still have cat litter all over the house as it just comes out with them so if you don't have a mat like us get ready to clean every day. i switched to the fresh step just like this with out the febreze in it its a few dollars cheaper and you get the same amount with out the over powering smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sold on tidy cats for years but we used one day to try the febreze fresh step......OMG this is the absolute best litter ever! Every time I scoop or when my cats "scratch" it releases the trademark febreze scent......no cat odor at all!!!

I absolutely love this litter! It does a great job with clumping and odors. I definitely can tell it has less litter dust, which is huge! I love the great deal with the 38lb packaging and it's great to have 4 separate bags for lifting. My only issue is the lack of ability to read the codes on the bottom of the plastic. It would be much, much better if it was printed on the cardboard.

We went on vacation to Peru for 10 days and changed the litter just before we left. There were no accidents while we were gone and the litter was fine even a few days after we returned. There is some dust, but since our litter box has a lid we don't experience problems in our small apartment. Our cat seems very pleased with this product and we're happy if she is happy.
