Very good clumping, doesn't track much, dust seems to be gradually getting less across all of the FreshStep clumping varieties. But my wife has a very sensitive nose and dislikes the scent. It isn't completely overwhelming so your mileage may vary, but it is noticable even to me. Also, all three of our cats kinda of sniffed at it and looked at me as if to say "it this really necessary?". All of us prefer the FreshStep Extreme UNSCENTED variety.

We especially use, and LOVE all of Fresh Step Lightweight liter! It is much easier now to carry it out the dumpster. I JUST PURCHASED 2 BOXES OF THE FRESH STEP EXTREME LITTER WITH FEBREZE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO. PRIOR TO THE PURCHASE I WOULD USE LITTER FRAGRANCE PELLETS AFTER A FEW DAYS OF SCOOPING TO HELP REDUCE THE ODOR AND EXTEND THE USE OF THE LITTER. I KNOW I WILL NOT HAVE TO MAKE THE ADDITIONAL PELLETS PURCHASE NOW: THIS LITTER REALLY HOLDS UP VERY WELL TO USE BYOF 3 KITTIES!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the fresh step extreme it clumps great and I have multiple cats in the house and I don't smell the litter box. I recommend it to any multicast house hold. It clumps great one of my cat is in kidney failure and the absorption really helps.

I have been using this product for over a year now and really love it, but with my two cats i notice i must add ALOT to the litter box to keep the urine from sticking to the bottom or sides, which i really dislike. The plus is that i can go a little over a week if i scoop every day.

My mommy began to use FreshStep Extreme when it was first introduced. She likes it alot & I do, too. I don't want my 'business' smelling up the house. With FreshStep, the odor is well controlled. Mommy would prefer a bit less dust but it's still a very good product.

I switched to this litter about 6 months ago and could not be happier. I have 5 cats and this litter does it's job by keeping smell down and has reduced my overall cost in litter as it does not need to be thrown away after every use like I used to have to do.

I was surprised at how much the litter had changed. There was very little dust and this was great for my asthma. The Febreze also helps!

I love using the Fresh step free and gentle litter because it’s super convenient with the mini bag packs you can buy it in and it doesn’t cause my fur baby any discomfort.

Fresh step Extreme has the best odor control. One cat loves to eat, which means he uses the litter quite frequently. Since we have guests over multiple times a week we needed litter that wasn't going to be the first thing you notice as you step into our house. The litter doesn't track all over and the odor control can't be beat!
