This is our go to litter because our cats love it. One of our cats absolutely hates a dirty litter box and anything that doesn't clump well. We have tried almost every brand and type of litter, the lightweight gets caught on our long haired cat and our picky cat doesn't seem to think his litter box stays clean enough so it seems this is the only litter we will be buying. It also helps that it really doesn't mask the smell (well most of the time).

We recently bought this formula to try it out. Our cat has very smelly bowel movements and we were searching for something that would eliminate the nasty odor yet not be too "perfumy". We like the low dust and pleasant scent. We were not sure it would even work to combat the strong odors from the litter box. We change it out every night and have found that even when our cat has just finished his business, we cannot tell. We are convinced it is due to this particular Fresh Step Extreme Scented Litter! We will be purchasing this litter since it takes care of our cats needs! We are a happy, satisfied customer for life!

My elderly cat has failing kidneys and requires a strong litter that is easy to scoop and keeps the odors down. I've previously used unscented litters, since that was her preferred type, but she has been a little more flexible in her old age and I've been able to use the Extreme Scented with Febreeze. It definitely keeps the smell to a minimum and works better than the unscented variety! It's a little dusty, but show me a litter that isn't and I'll show you a useless, non clumping litter!

I bought Fresh Step after the store where I shop stopped carrying the brand I had bought for years. I am so glad I gave this a try! There is literally no odor at all when my cat uses his box. Fresh Step clumps well and clean up is easy. Thanks for such a great product!

I live in a small apartment and I don't want guests to walk in and smell the litter box. So far it has worked, you can hardly smell anything coming from the litter box and the clumping works great!

With 4 cats I really needed something that could hold smell at bay until we could change the litter every night and not make my house smell with 3 litter boxes. The febreze smells alright it so strong its all i can smell on day 1 but day 1 is all you get. My cats hate the smell and will go to the bathroom someplace else.I do have the say even after the smell was gone as long as we changed the box every night or the next morning i never smelled anything from the cats which was great. It is so not dust free !!!every time i put some in the litter boxes or my storage box dust flies all over its so bad i have to keep my kids who have asthma away. All the litter boxes we own have hoods and we still have cat litter all over the house as it just comes out with them so if you don't have a mat like us get ready to clean every day. i switched to the fresh step just like this with out the febreze in it its a few dollars cheaper and you get the same amount with out the over powering smell.

I originally used another product and although I cleaned their boxes sometimes three times a day, I still felt it left a smell behind.I switched to Fresh Step extreme over a year ago and I wish I had used it all along. I love walking in from the outside into my home and not being able to smell litter!

But now I have a new kitty and she is adorable! Since using Fresh Step, I don't even know there is litter - no odors and not messy at all. I love Fresh Step!!

I am so surprised how well this litter works. I have one very picky cat, she will only use unscented litter. She really surprised me when she used this litter. This litter works well even when my son forgets to scoop it before he leaves in the morning. It does not start to stink until that evening and he it supposed to scoop it every morning. So it works for well over more than 24 hours, and I have 3 cats.
