I have tried other Fresh Step products, but for my 2-cat household Fresh Step Extreme is by far the most effective litter for eliminating the strong ammonia odor. I have consistently used Fresh Step Extreme for almost 10 years now because, for me, it is the best in odor elimination.

It has very low dust and the odor control is unbeatable! You would never know I had two cats because of how well it works.

Not only does it keep my house smelling "pet free" but it also keeps my cat happy because he does not like a stinky litter box either. It is easy to scoop an my cats love it also. I have one cat that if box has not been scooped for one day will go in front of box. He does not do that with this litter. I was really impressed with this.

I have used every cat litter out there. Not only is it a great price, it is hands down the best litter I have ever used. I do want to try the lightweight version, but this brand is just the best. Best at odor control, best at clumping and ease of us, just the best. Also it outlasts every other product by far.

I have been using the Extreme Litter for almost 2 years now. I was a little worried when they changed to it Febreze, but it is still just as amazing. I keep my litter box in the living area and I have heard from almost every person that has been to my house... "You have a cat.. you would never know". This litter is hands down the best litter I have ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this on a whim since the store was out of odor shield, and I won't go back! This litter is the best yet. The litter boxes (one in the basement and one in our back room behind the kitchen) basically don't exist! Usually, there's a stronger smell while cleaning the box out or if I forget about it for a day or two since they're hidden, but there's no smell at all with the Extreme! We love it! Great product!

This is by far the best, and my personal favorite when it comes to scent. I know scent can bother cats, but this covers any and all odors. You'd never know I have cats when I'm using this particular scent. It's pleasant in my opinion. Fresh Step makes the best litters and I'll never buy another brand. I've tried many brands over the years and nothing else compares.
