I've been using Fresh Step cat litter for years. It's the only one that keeps odors at bay in my multi-cat family. Now that they've added Febreeze the scent is even better & the odor control is phenomenal. I will continue to buy this product for the unforeseeable future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Fresh Step for over a decade now. With 4 indoor cats, it is the only litter that controls the entire odor, not just mask it. Visitors are surprised to learn that I have 4 cats in the home. I always hear, "It doesn't smell like you have pets."

So I'm really horrible at remembering what litter I bought the previous time I always buy the febreeze litter and have loved every single one I have bought. I love the smell of the litter and how dust free it is. My kitty loves it, because the litter is so fine and there is less mess and tracking through the house. I love how it clumps so it is easier to scoop and doesn't still smell like kitty when I'm finished. Most days the room his litter is in, you can actually smell the febreeze. so no scentsy is needed in there. even after he uses the bathroom it doesn't stink. I love that.

What happened? During the last few months the litter has completely changed. To empty the litter box has become an ordeal. The litter turns into a cement like texture that sticks to the sides and bottom of the box. I use a steel litter scooper and cannot move the litter without great difficulty. Used to love your litter. No more! I am changing brands.

This litter performed very well and the light scent kept odors to a minimum. Actually,so does the Extreme. The only problem I have is with tracking. I wish that could be improved.

My husband was afraid he would smell the cat box well he was in for a surprise and needless to say so was I. If we didn't keep checking the box we never knew when he went. Great for odor blocking. I recommended my aunt switch her litter and she did and she LOVES IT!!!!! Thanks for a great product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from multi-cat to this and love it! Less odor and LESS DUST! Cats like it as well. Only issue I've had is with the ziploc litter bags. You can't get them open. They guy at the store had the same issue. One bag I tried opening ripped and spilled almost all of it's content on the floor. I was not happy. On 5th bag that I've just cut the ziploc top off. Makes it harder to lift and poor but less mess trying to open them! Other than that issue, it's their best litter by far! Would've given 5 stars if it wasn't for their impossible to open bag lol! Just bought two boxes this week instead of the bag to avoid the stress. Hope they fix that! Overall, Fresh Step is my favorite litter and I recommend it to all my friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a 14 lb box of the Fresh Step Extreme in the Mountain Spring scent. I have 3 cats in my home and we have 2 litter boxes. I scoop the litter every day and I only notice the smell if I am right next to the box. After I scoop and add the new litter there is no smell! There is a little dust but not so much that it is a problem. It clumps very nicely which is a plus for me!

One of our two cats refuses to use this litter because of the strong scent. We originally didn't realize it was the scent that was causing him to go outside of the littler box. We started using puppy pads around the box so he wouldn't go on the floor. After a couple of weeks, we went back to using the unscented or original scented litter, and he started using the litter box again.
