I live in a small apartment with my two cats and roommate and neither of us ever notice any "cat" smells! This litter is wonderful and the clumping action is incredible. I actually had a friend ask what type of litter I was using, as she noticed the lack of any "cat" smells around my apartment and she was amazed. Great product!!

Of course, it works better when my cat covers up her mess, but that may be user error. Overall, I’ve been getting this product for more than a year and I’ll keep getting this product.

Within minutes of my cats using it the odors would overwhelm an entire room. The ability to control the smells is lost with the Febreze. So we switched to the Triple Action and are loving it. I would definitely recommend the Triple action rather than the Extream w/ Febreze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been by far the best cat litter on the market. With 6 cats, we have tried different brands and even natural ones that had great reviews. We always come back to Fresh Step because the quality of their litter. Our cats love it as well. They are in and outdoors and always come inside to use the litter box. The cats have their vote.

This version clumps really well. It does cover the odor of my cat's urine. However, when poured it has a large cloud of dust and very intense febreze smell. While you would think this would be a good thing, the smell also sticks to my cats and can be nauesating after a while.

I like the scent as it covers up kitty smells extremely well, and it seems to last a good 3-4 weeks before the box needs to be completely changed and washed. This litter clumps fantastically, and I've tried the Extreme and Odor Shield kinds and I love both. Great products!

I own 4 cats who love to go to the bathroom and stink the place up but with this extreme odor I don't smell a thing.

I was so tired of walking in my apartment and smelling cat box. After doing some research I found high ratings on the Fresh Step Extreme. I bought this product and I am so very pleased! My cat uses the box and I only smell it for a few seconds and then no smell at all! When walking into my apartment now there is no smell. I also noticed that the litter does not track like other litters. I am so thankful for this product. Thanks Fresh Step!!

I have a multicast household, and it really does offer 10 days of odor protection. Love the individual bags, makes it much easier to fill the litter boxes.

I bought the new Fresh Step with frebreze and have to say that I was even more satisfied than normal. Fresh step is by far the best car litter I have ever tried but now its even better. Also I have 3 cats and usually with other litters even after scooping you can smell but Fresh step really covers and clumps great!
