[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Fresh Step unscented cat litter for a few years now. Trying the new extreme clump litter, we found it a bit more clumpier than the unscented. The scent in the extreme is actually very mild, so that to us is a plus. The only negative is this litter is dustier and not as favorable. We still prefer the unscented, the cats couldn’t care either which way!

The clumping is strong and solid, making scooping fast and easy without breaking apart, which helps keep the litter box much cleaner with less mess around it. Odor controls is expressive and keeps the area smelling fresh even in a multi-cat household. The packaging is stardly, easy to store and simple to pour without spills. My cats accepted this litter immediately with no hesitation and seems comfortable using it . Overall, great performance, reliable clumping, minimal mess , and a product both pets and owners can appreciate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well . Clumps decently for the most part. The amount of dust is crazy though ,it flies everywhere. For some reason cat likes to just lay in her litter box on top of this litter. Scent could use to be a lot stronger.

Fresh Step Extreme Clump worked amazingly well , low dust, low tracking granuals. Quick clumping makes for easy removal and less litter box changes for me. 15 day odor control with Fabreze freshness is a huge plus. No litter box smell in this house! The handle on the box made it convenient to carry, easy open serrated flap for pouring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thankful for Fresh Step for sending over this generously sized box of litter - the one thing that I hate buying most of all! Because handing money over in exchange for a box of clay for my cats to poop on just doesn’t sit right with me :) but, they need it! This is not my usual brand when it comes to litter, but while I’m happy with my current litter - I’ve been considering changing brands because I know that there are much cheaper options out there. While “cheaper” would be ideal, I don’t want a cheaper quality or anything that my babies aren’t happy with. They’ve been using this litter for a few days now, and so far they don’t seem to mind the change. They’ve been using the box with this litter in it as they usually do, with no hesitation. And while I’m not using it myself, I do notice some differences. My usual litter consists of very small rounded bits of clay, and this litter is more like shards of clay. It doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable to them, but I would think that the small round bits would feel better on their paws. With these larger pieces, it does seem like there’s less tracking which I like. My usual litter ends up EVERYWHERE. This Fresh Step litter is pretty good for the most part, but there’s just one thing that I just really dislike about it - and it’s the scent. This particular box of litter is “Febreeze” scented, and I don’t know why but it just smells awful. Again, it doesn’t *seem* to bother my cats BUT they couldn’t really tell me if it did. So for that alone, I’m not going to use this specific litter in the future but maybe the unscented version.

The only negative is that it's seems to be a little more dusty when pouring into the litter box compared to other brands but it's not a deal breaker.

Didn’t form tight clumps, so it was harder to scoop up. My cats used it but we prefer arm and hammer because the litter is finer, more like sand.

When I tried out Fresh Step extreme clump, I was surprised how much easier it made cleaning and maintaining a litter box. The clumps were quite large, but held together well. That kept the box clean and minimized messes. The scent was mild, but kept odors away very well. It really eliminated the litter box smells that I despised. This product really delivers.
