I'm so bummed. I'm a huge researcher. I've tried every kind of litter. Fresh step extreme was the one litter that I found years ago and loved after trying everything else. I raved about it and recommended it to all my friends with cats. The new scent with the Febreze is WAY too strong for the first few days and then completely goes away and all you smell is the poo. My poor cats smelled like potpourri ball (not in a good way). Please bring back the old formula! I can't start my whole litter hunt over again :(

Anyone who visits my house is totally shocked to find out I have cats. They all say they have been to other houses and can smell the litter box. Not in my house!

Having a cat and not advertising the fact with the odors that emanate from a littler box, is important in keeping a clean home. The Fresh Step Extreme with Febreze is a great product. The cat doesn't track litter through the house and the smell is controlled very well. Thanks for a product that works as advertised

These smaller bags are easier to move and pour out. Everytime I pour fresh litter into my cat's box, it's like the most overwhelming and amazing smell ever. I just scoop the litter and pour it back down, like a Japanese meditation garden, just to smell how good it is. I know that sounds nuts. These little bags are my favorite though!

No one would know we have a cat because it controls the odors so well. I don't even use filters on my kitty litter hood. Guests that stay don't even notice the litter until they hear kitty doing his business. Excellent odor control.

I've been using Fresh Step Extreme for the past year. I've tried a bunch of different litters and this is the only one that keeps the odors contained in our multi cat home. It also isn't a high dust litter, or make my home smell like scented litter. Easy to scoop and the cats don't seem to have a problem with it.

I love the major clumping that this litter does! It clumps so well it’s so easily scooped and cleaned because of how it works. The scent smells good and masks the typical odor, that does not mean to let it go too long in between cleans but it does hide the typical cat odor. Most of my guest have no idea I even have a cat! I love this big box of 42 lbs of kitty litter, what is even better is that I did not have to go to the store pick it up and carrying it back home. I love that you can order this online have it prime shipped within 2 days and have it ready to use! Both my cat and I love the litter. I also would like to add my husband is highly allergic to cats and he can be in the same room as the little box with no issues which I would say is rather impressive!

I buy the 38lb box about twice a week, sometimes more depending on how many cats I'm fostering at the time. This litter is fantastic for clumping and the litter boxes are rarely filthy when scooped daily. My cats have never had an issue with it and it keeps the odor under control.
