I have been using this product since the adoption of our newest kitty (about 4 months) and it is amazing! There is almost no dust when emptying the litter into our storage container and odors are nonexistent. In fact, people seem surprised when our cat walks into the room as there are no tell tale smells.

I hate Febreeze, I really do. I'm so sick of its cloyingly sweet, overpowering scents adulterating practically every non-food item I try to buy these days. Then my usual store had only this and Scoop Away in the size I wanted. Scoop Away gives one of my cats a rash, otherwise I'd have bought that instead of one. more. awful. thing. that. has. Febreeze. So I gave in and hoped for the best. I was pleasantly surprised. It's not cloying or overpowering at all. It has if anything a more mild scent than the usual Fresh Step scent, while somehow being as effective at keeping odors neutral or nonexistent.

I've always been s fresh step user, when they introduced the extreme line, I was thrilled. It allows me to scoop less often, but maintain that odor free home. When they added febreeze to the extreme,, it was just icing on the cake. No one knows I have cats unless they see them, and I have 2litter boxes in my home.

Coming back to find these Febreeze-infused, odor crystally litters available has been amazing. It's incredible how long a box of litter lasts, even with 2.5 cats :) Still feel compelled to mix in crystals, though.

I have 1 cat in my house as do my parents & we both use this product. I'm not impressed when a cat litter product says its "100% dust free" as honestly no product is because there's no guarantee with how it's handled at the factory & during shipment. I do however like the fact you labeled this product "Lower dust formula" which it doesn't nearly seem to be the amount of dust compared to other Fresh Step products I previously used before I switched to the Fresh Step Extreme Scented w/ Febreze. On the plus side though the Febreze works wonders for odor control & I love the clumping ability of this litter!

I bought this because it said it had lower dust and that was something I wanted. I didn't really notice that it had less dust, maybe some, but there was still plenty of dust when poured out. But the thing I really really dislike is the scent. It is overpowering and I will not be buying this product again because of it. I will be looking for something lower dust that is unscented. I rated it as low odor control because at times, I still smelled the cat waste but also the overpowering scent. Trying to drown out the scent with another scent doesnt' work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've experimented with a few different brands of kitty litter before I fell I love with fresh step. The clumps are instant and become very compact. It's a plus that each time my cat scratches around in her litter box or I go to scoop it out, moving the litter around creates a trail of febreeze! It's so great!!

I originally used another product and although I cleaned their boxes sometimes three times a day, I still felt it left a smell behind.I switched to Fresh Step extreme over a year ago and I wish I had used it all along. I love walking in from the outside into my home and not being able to smell litter!

My mommy began to use FreshStep Extreme when it was first introduced. She likes it alot & I do, too. I don't want my 'business' smelling up the house. With FreshStep, the odor is well controlled. Mommy would prefer a bit less dust but it's still a very good product.

In the past, I religiously bought Fresh Step Extreme Clumping Litter. In a multiple cat household, keeping the stink away is important, and this was the ONLY product that succeeded in doing that. However, it was incredibly dusty. I was excited when the new low-dust formula came out. And it works! The bad news: it doesn't keep the stink down as effectively as the original Extreme. This is why I gave it an average rating. If the Febreze formula was replaced with whatever was in the original, I would give it 5 stars.
