I live in a small apartment with my two cats and roommate and neither of us ever notice any "cat" smells! This litter is wonderful and the clumping action is incredible. I actually had a friend ask what type of litter I was using, as she noticed the lack of any "cat" smells around my apartment and she was amazed. Great product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I love Fresh Step Extreme. I have 3 rescues and find FSE to handle odor, and the clumping factor makes it easy to scoop. Still a little dusty, but current formula is better previous ones.

We love Fresh Step, so when I saw the Febreze version, I bought a big bag thinking it was a good idea. It did smell pretty... The next morning the box was half empty and the litter was scattered all over my kitchen floor. My cats are very clean and had never exhibited this behavior before. I cleaned the mess and refilled the box with more Febreze litter. My 4 year old cat proceeded to try to empty it again later that day. The cats had grown up using Fresh Step, so I thought it must be the scent. I purchased some "unscented" Fresh Step and changed out the box. The behavior stopped. I guess you can't teach an old cat new tricks either!

I have 3 cats that share 2 litter boxes and the smell is never a problem with this litter. I recommend the Fresh Step Extreme with Febreze to anyone with 1 or more indoor cats!

I am a huge fan of Fresh Step. I have two cats and I sift the box everyday. I usually add a cat litter deodorizer. I love the smell of Frebreze, and I the way it smells when I pour it in the cat box and throughout the day. I don't feel the need for the deodorizer as much with new fresh scent. Thank you

Not once since I've been using Fresh Step Extreme with Febreeze have I smelled a litter box! Clumps wonderfully, catches any moisture before it sinks to the bottom of the box, and everyone is happy with it; no kicking the litter out or going outside the box! I'll never again use anything but Fresh Step Extreme! When your guests say "I didn't know you had cats!", you know you've picked the right litter!

I started using Fresh Step Extreme with Febreez and I haven't looked back. Hands down this litter does 10 times more than anything else on the market. It clumps solid, it neutralizes the smell, and it's a "breeze" to clean. You are getting your money's worth with this one, give it a try and I promise you won't buy another brand ever again! :)
