I have an older cat whos drinking and urination habits are similar to a cat with diabetes (He was recently tested Neg) But with all that he pees the other clumping litters could not keep pace with him. with Extreme some litter still sticks to the sides of litter box but far less.

I'm sure this ends up all over my house through the heating system. It's sad because fresh step products work, I just wish they would make a less dusty version that doesn't break the bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been buying the Fresh Step Extreme Cat Litter 42lbs for well over a year now for my two female cats and no one would ever know that I had a cat let alone TWO cats living in my home as this type litter totally absorbs all the odors that go along with having a litter box in the home. I won’t buy anything but Fresh Step Extreme for my two little darlings!

While I was in the hospital a friend thought she was doing me a favor (Saving some money) and bought a different brand... the instant I entered my home I knew. There is no comparison... Fresh Step is the only litter I will ever use. My friend agreed that the $.50 savings is not worth the smell in your home. She changed her brand to Fresh Step!!!!!

Even the cats won't use a litter box unless it has Fresh Step in it....now that's a 'cat's' statement. I was not sure when they changed the fragrance but they still love it. Tried others but the cats didn't want to use the litter box. You can't even tell I have cats in the house! GREAT PRODUCT

No more huge cloud of dust billowing up as I pour the granules into their box. I have 7 cats, so clean litter, multiple boxes is a given in my home. The new formula continues the great odor fighting qualities - now with minimal dust! Thank you!

We have 2 cats and they share 1 litter box. So naturally it can get pretty dirty pretty quickly. With this litter however we can go 3-4 days before we have to switch it out and during that time the odor is completely controlled. Many people have commented they wouldn't even know we had cats if they didn't see them. That's the #1 job of litter in my opinion and this litter does an amazing job at it.
