Wonderful features great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our TV to watch movies mostly has a great picture very easy to use. Installation was easy. Anything your looking for is easy to find. We don't do streaming well at least not yet. Overall we are very pleased with this product would recommend to anyone.

Great TV for a Great Price!

Smart TVs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start by saying I love my tv, I just hate that it works kind of slow. Always signing me out of apps, the volume goes up & down too fast and sometimes have to press the in button multiple times before it actually comes on.

Sg422: Thank you for sharing your experience with the TU7000 TV. I am sorry that you are experiencing some delayed response when when changing volume and some lagging. To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update Both the current version and new version number will be displayed. The current version is what your TV is using and the new version is the latest update. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience by selecting > Auto Update. This TV has the most bang for the buck!!!

Good features and quick responses

The game mode is a nice feature and the customizations of the screen are excellent. I do not use the speakers as I prefer my the quality of my soundbar. I also take advantages of the downloadable apps (Netflix and HBO mainly) when watching things on the television.

75" Chrystal UHD

The picture quality is just awesome. When paired up to smartthings, you get alerts and a remote on your phone. Just an awesome tv.

Overall it's fine for an inexpensive TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't bought a new TV in several years, and I went with a top brand, but a discounted price. In retrospect... I might have made a different choice. But overall - it's fine. It's a decent enough TV . The 2 main issues I have with it are: It's dark. Like really dark. Watching any dark/night scenes and I can't make out many details. I've turned the brightness WAY up and turn all the lights off in the room shut all the blinds etc, and it's still difficult to make out what's happening. So I mostly watch shows with dark/action scenes in the evenings, because in the daytime I might as well be looking at a black screen with some audio. The other thing is small, and odd. It turns itself on. Not all the time, but often enough that it's annoying. I'll turn it off at the end of the day - go into the next room and hear it come on. It's baffling!

Hi Sher71, Thank you for your purchase and your feedback on the Samsung TU7000 TV. Please know we are here to help you and have a few troubleshooting tips that may resolve your issues. First, if the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. I recommend using Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic. Or you can manually adjust the Brightness, Contrast, and more. Press the HOME button on your remote, then navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution > Ambient Light Detection. Now, if your TV is turning itself on, there are a few steps that I would like you to go through to ensure they are not the cause. 1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds. 2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage. 3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet. 4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. 5. Disable the Power On with the Mobile option. TVs that can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. Finally, if you are using the device through HDMI, it could cause the auto-on, as Anynet+ is enabled. Occasionally connected devices such as game consoles (PS5, Xbox) or cable set-top boxes send a turn-on signal, for example, if they have software updates. We recommend you try turning Anynet+ off as it may be causing auto power on. Go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+, then disable. Technological Masterpiece
