We have given it a try, but we will return it. The apps do not work properly, videos keep freezing. We have checked for updates and done everything possible to make this work. Not very impressed with image quality, the smaller Toshiba that we had for a while works better than this one. Not worth keeping.

Disappointing
picture is good. software/interface is a huge disappointment. i was hoping to not have to use a box of any kind but will have to go back to apple tv. the smart hub is so bad that when you turn the tv on it will only default to their smasung channels which blasts some nonesene game shows or bad tv. i use youtube tv for programmining and have to go in and load each time which is slow. app tiles are small and hard to distinguish which app is highlighted. i have a tcl with roku tv that was cheaper, runs faster, has a much better interface with infinately more configuration, etc. really expected more from samsung. i just picture a group of design people sitting around a presentation of this “smart hub” interface and being impressed enough to approve it....wow.

Great TV, terrible remote!
this is a great tv! it is our first smart tv and we're pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up and use. even our children are able to use it with ease. especially simple when switching back and forth between cable and streaming apps. we are very happy with the tv but i have to say that we strongly dislike the remote. buttons need to be different sizes/ shapes or even different a orientation. we're constantly hitting the wrong buttons even after having for a few weeks. this is the only downside to this tv.
Disappointed
I bought this TV this week. The picture was great for 2 days. Turned the TV on this morning and every channel has green imaging. It is only clear now when still pictures are on the screen . . . Will be in touch with the store where I purchased it as I have only had it a few days now.

it is extremly hard for me to give 5 stars for anything because everything can be improved on and this 7 series samsung is no different. it is a great tv and setup is fairly easy but i have to agrree with others that the remote needs some improvement. first the instuctions constantly refer to the ok button and there is not an ok button so trial and error places it between the 4 directional arrows. the apps don't function as they should upon the inital setup. there are many features that samsung needs to examin in that area. the set is a great set and the 65” that i got has a really good, not great picture. i do not regret my purchase and other than the remote i'm happy with my purchase.
This product has great features and apps
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 65" Samsung Smart TV, I just love they way the TV show beautiful pictures it has great sound it's just a good quality product. I like streaming on my Samsung Smart TV because you can download any app that you want it's good for gaming also, the TV shows like you are in a movie theater, you can adjust the lighting on the tv to 3 or 4 mods i love just love that feature and I also like the fact that you can stream on the internet, you can also set a timer for the TV to cut the TV off. I just really enjoy watching my Samsung TV, I just love all Samsung products
Did Not Last
i love samsung products love them. i have 2 g7 monitors for my pc, 3 other samsung tvs, phones, and my watch all samsung. im a fan boy. but this tv let me down. i bought it about 2 years ago when it was released, and its now dead. it was barely used, im at my computer the majority of the time. i would say it has less than 500 total hours over 2 years. and now no picture period. this was a major let down.

Please know we are here to help you. If your TV has a black screen even when it's on, it's quite possible it could actually be your external device and not your TV. Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue: 1. Press the Home button on the remote. If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues. Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power). 2. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device. For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced. After you've reconnected the external device, turn it off and then back on. 3. Test the HDMI cable. Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not have it. If your model does not have this test or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step. The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords. To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test. If the test says, the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required. 4. Test different external devices. The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port. If you were unable to test the cable in the previous step, then try swapping the cable, too. If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it. Black screen in a couple of days
TV worked fine for the first couple of days, then the screen went black presumably from a faulty back light strip. The menus and and sound still work, but the screen is still black. Otherwise, the screen was great for 4K gaming until it unfortunately broke.
Kevin: If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you're not seeing any picture; there are 3 potential issues. 1) A connection issue; the most common problem. Where there is a bad connection, faulty cables or improper installation. 2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV. 3) There is something wrong with the TV, which will require a technician to assess the TV and find a solution. The 'Samsung TU7000 Full Manual' is available online. Refer to pages 135-140 for step-by-step troubleshooting instructions. Bad performer
It performs pretty poorly in an ambient day-lit room. I can't even watch this during the day or in a room with lighting. You can't even see any dark scene. I've tried ALL the recommended adjustments. It's been bad tech since day one, though okay for daytime cooking shows. But sometimes you just want to watch a movie. Watching any Alien series would be impossible.
Good overall
very good picture, not phenomenal speakers but they're clear. navigation is relatively simple. my only gripe - it turns itself back on!!! and yes, we've checked the remote, the software, blah blah blah. all the things that can be looked up to try, we've tried. wish we could figure out the issue, but other than having to get back up and turn the tv off again, it's a solid set.
