Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 43" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV UN43TU700DFXZA forGreat Feature and Responsiveness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my TV for streaming movies and playing video games. I love it for both purposes. It has been excellent and I recommend the TV to anyone looking for a large screen. Pros: Great Picture Great Software Cons Screen Brightness is not relatively high enough NEEDS MORE HDMI INPUTS. It is so stupid they only give you two now.
Would not recommend
I bought this TV in March of 2021 and had to return it to the store the next day as it was not working correctly. I returned it and it worked well for about three weeks. It is currently turning on and off by itself and I cannot correct it. I heard that Samsung were great products, but I am very unhappy with this product. Would not recommend.
Hello Janet, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the issues you are experiencing with your TV powering itself on and off. Sometimes connected Smart devices send abnormal "power on" signals through the wireless network that triggers the TV to turn itself on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. If you are using an external device through HDMI, this also could cause the auto power on as Anynet+ is set on. Occasionally, connected devices such as game consoles (PS4, xbox) or cable set top boxes send power on signals, for example, if they have software updates. We recommend you to try turning Anynet+ off as it may be causing auto power on. Go to Setting- General - External Device Manager - Anynet+, then Disable (toggle button) If your TV still appears to turn off by itself, please also try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions. See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer has been enabled and disable it. - Settings > General > Eco Solution > Auto Power Off - Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer If the TV continues to turn on or off by itself continuously, please contact our TV Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or text HELP to 62913. Terrible TV. Waste of money
I bought this hoping it would be an improvement because I liked my old samsung TV a lot. Netflix doesn't work, the picture isn't great, constantly having internet issues with the TV (My internet has been fine with my other TV's and computers) thinking about returning it but it will be a pain. Also, recommended screw sizes did not fit to mount it. Idk what they were doing when they built this piece of garbage.
Jimmy, Thank you for your purchase and review. I am sorry for the issues you had and understand your disappointment. Please check that your TV is running the latest firmware, which can be found at: www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020 For instructions on how to update your firmware, please visit: www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062224/ . Netflix should be working properly now. The 65 inch TU7000 TV is compatible with any VESA mount that supports 400x300 spacing. Screw size is M8 x 125mm You can find details, including diagrams and images of wall mounting on page 7 of your user manual. Picture was great for one day
This TV had good picture for 24 hours and then the picture had a purple/pink hue. And no Samsung, per your suggestion to every bad review, there is no firmware update available for my TV. As per other reviews a reset has temporarily resolved the issue but I will be returning this TV tomorrow.

Great picture, but freezes A LOT!
i've had this tv about 2 months. the picture is great, but the tv freezes a lot...especially when switching between sources inputs. i route all audio/video sources in to my yamaha rx-v565 a/v receiver, and have a single hdmi output cable to the tv. however, when switching between sources on the yamaha, the tv will freeze. i've used this yamaha receiver for years with other samsung tvs and never had this problem until i this one. the only way i've found to recover the "frozen" tv (without pulling the plug) is to hold the power button on the remote for about 3-5 seconds. that will sort reboot the tv. this is very annoying to have to do every single day! i have the latest firmware, but still the issue persists. samsung, please fix this!!

Good overall
very good picture, not phenomenal speakers but they're clear. navigation is relatively simple. my only gripe - it turns itself back on!!! and yes, we've checked the remote, the software, blah blah blah. all the things that can be looked up to try, we've tried. wish we could figure out the issue, but other than having to get back up and turn the tv off again, it's a solid set.
Died after 1 year (and 22 days)
Picture went extremely dim (not just dark -- unwatchable) all of a sudden. Unfortunately this happened 22 days after the meager 1 year warranty expired. So, I now have a useless, expensive piece of techno-trash that Samsung is unwilling to do anything about. To their credit, designing a tv that dies 22 days after the warranty ends is really a pretty impressive con. Save yourself the heartache, don't buy this piece of garbage. Or if you do, think about it more like an annual rental.
Hi there, I'm sorry to hear that your Samsung TU7000 TV display is having issues. We appreciate your patience; there are a few troubleshooting steps that I will put below in case you have not yet tried them. First, you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. Next, let's make sure that your Energy Saving Mode is not causing this issue. Go to Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode> Disable. You can also run a Picture Test. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test. You also may want to ensure that your Firmware is up to date. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. If you continue to have a dim screen, then your TV will need service. If your TV is out of the 1-year Manufacturer's Warranty, you can locate a service center in your area on Samsung's website. Go to Support (upper right corner) and select Schedule a Service Appointment. This will allow you to find a location nearest you to help you with your repair. Should you have additional questions or wish to troubleshoot the issue, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor
Good Screen Resolution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very nice smart TV with reasonable price and good quality pictures. I really enjoy watching shows and movies on this TV. The only thing that I believe it's missing. The voice command on the TV remote control.
Love it....but....
I'll make this quick, I LOVE IT!!! What sucks is lack of storage or the option to add more. How can I perform a software update, when the TV out the box only gives like 200 MB. I had to delete the only two apps I downloaded and then tv still didnt have enough storage. Ima give it a week then change my review to a 2 star.
Great 4K TV
I have been using for a week now with no issues. After reading other reviews I decided not to use the Smart functions of this TV. Instead I am using an NVIDIA Shield TV. Everything works great so far. Picture is bright, colors are vivid and HDR seems to be working great. One piece of advice I would give is make sure, if you are using an external smart device. Make sure your HDMI cable is at least HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.
