I have four kitties, one of which is really sensitive to strong artificial scents. After I started using this product, his allergies have significantly improved, and the litter does an impressive job hiding the odor without being scented. I've tried others and keep going back to this one!

I'm so glad this Unscented litter is available. It is truly odor free and dust free - two great features! Please don't ever stop making unscented litter. But why is the box so thick? It is ridiculously hard to cut out the Paw Points code!! Please fix that.

I've not had any problems with odor, so no need to buy very perfumed products that can be irritating. Dust is another important factor in what brand to buy. You don't want you cat breathing that in when they are scratching around! Plus you are too when cleaning it out. I've had some low quality brands before coat everything in the room-coming out of a covered box! Clumping action is also important. You don't want it breaking up and getting everywhere. This specific product is supposed to also help prevent bacteria growth. (I did NOT receive a free product, but it won't let me post the review unless I select yes (no is not an option))

We are not fans of the scented litters and always use unscented. This parti8cular litter is our go-to choice and has served two cats well for many years. I particularly like how well this litter controls odors and encapsulates the waste. We sometimes can't find this on the shelf at our favorite store and it's one of the few products I will go out of my way to find. Well Done, Fresh Step!

I needed unscented litter for my cat with a skin allergy. Love the individual bags that are easier to lift. This litter doesn't seem to cause her a problem. I would prefer if my local Sam's Club would carry it in stock instead of having to pay for shipping.

This was the one that started it all...I purchased this brand/type of litter when my usual brand took a sudden huge price hike, I mean it went up almost $4! That day I went ahead and cleaned the litter box thoroughly, dump, wash, disinfect to put this new litter. I clean my kitty's box every night and so far this litter is great at odor control, minimal tracking, a little dusty but compared to a few other brands I've tried it's not bad. I differently recommend this litter and already have to my friend/family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a cat who is 18 and becoming increasing finicky with cat litter. This by far suits him the best. Any additives like Febreze just complicate a delicate balance in elderly pets. It's hard to find in all stores and usually come in a smaller box with less paw points which is disappointing but for my elderly boy this cat litter is the best.

I have one cat who is VERY finicky about litter. If it smells too strong of perfume , or if he can smell the other kitty's "leavings", he refuses to use the box and goes right outside the box. As you might imagine, this has been a huge point of contention between myself and said litter princess. Until now. My other cat had some urinary issues recently, and the vet recommended using an unscented litter moving forward. Not only is this litter better for the kitty with the urinary issues, but after YEARS of the other cat going outside the littler box, he has finally accepted this litter as suitable for his highness's deposits. Now, human's review: It clumps tight for easy removal, and although unscented, does a great job of absorbing the ammonia odor. I tried a couple of other unscented brands before this one, and they are NOT all created equal. Other brands I used didn't do anything for the ammonia odor, and had to be cleaned daily, or even a couple times a day to avoid the whole space being taken over by the smell of ammonia. Personally, even though I live in a 3rd floor walk-up, I prefer this to the "Lightweight" version, because, as you can imagine, light for me to carry also means light for kitty to carry, on his paws, and all the way onto the couch, or bed, or kitchen table. I live in a studio, so anything I can do to eliminate tracking litter is important.

This is probably the best litter on the market. Excellent clumping, keeping the litter cleaner longer. Best odor control of any litter. Activated charcoal has been shown in numerous studies to be the most effective odor control material. My cats really aren't picky about the litter they use but I buy this litter because it makes my life easier and more pleasant. In a multi-cat household controlling litter box odors can be challenging. This litter makes it not so challenging. The only thing I would change is how the box opens. It can be difficult to get open at times. The perforation isn't always very good. Sometimes I use a box knife.
