[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fresh Step Simply unscented cat litter is one of my favorites. It comes in a convenient, compact box. It is also truly unscented. For those of us who have sensitive noses, or even those of us with cats who have sensitive noses, this is very nice. Many litters claim to be unscented, but aren’t actually. Fresh Step is very honest. This is a reliable litter that is easy to clean and is widely available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step Simply Unscented litter clumps excessively, making cleanup difficult. The tracking from my cats scratching it around was horrible. It went everywhere. The scent is unscented, which I liked, but the deep-cleaning process is frustrating because of its sludge-like consistency. The packaging was sturdy, I'll give it that. But I'II stick with non-clumping natural litter from here on out. As far as the value, I’m not sure since this was a complimentary item, which I appreciate very much and it’s a bummer it didn’t work out.

We’ve recently switched from silica litter to clumping litter and have been trying different brands due to the youngest developing asthma. This is our top choice so far. It looks like most other clumping litters with a slightly softer texture so it’s gentle on their feet. It’s easy to scoop and dispose of. Because Willow has asthma, it’s great that it’s also unscented and doesn’t leave a lot of dust in the air when sifting during cleaning. It’s also great at absorbing odors when cleaning out daily.

The texture is fine and small-grained. It clumps well and easy to scoop, doesn’t produce a lot of dust, which is a plus, but it does track very easily. The box has a convenient handle, but it’s very heavy. I wish the litter was more lightweight– that would make it much easier to use. It does the job, but nothing stands out, you can find similar quality options that are cheaper. A decent, middle-of-the-road product.

First off, I prefer as much non scented products for my kids, so I like that this litter is non scented. Package is a bit simple and could be a bit more secure, but at the same time it’s good that the container is made of cardboard as it’ll save plastic use. My cats are still inspecting and using their usual litter, but they are curious about this litter.

I can’t smell their output at all. It clumps well and is not dusty. I like that it’s not scented with artificial gross scents. Will buy again.

I love that it’s unscented giving me peace of mind that it won’t irritate my cat. They guarantee 15 day odor control I found it worked pretty well keeping the scent covered too.
