I read all sorts of information about what the best litter would be for such an investment and found this litter was reviewed as the best. I have never had a problem with it nor has my Litter-Robot and I would highly recommend! It’s dust free and easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh step litter was a surprise to me. I've always heard mixed reviews and really wasn't sure what to expect but I was happy with it. The cat seemed fine with it like the other littler we have had and it worked well with the odor control.

I've been using this litter for a few months now. It's very effective at controlling odors without any of the added perfumes or scents (Febreeze, Gain, etc). I used buy the Febreeze version of this, but my cat seems to be more accepting of the unscented, which means fewer messes to clean up.

We have used this product for several years. A 42-pound bag fills an extra large, multi-cat litter box and covers 3 cats for at least 2 full weeks before needing to be changed out. It has low dust and there is no offensive floral or perfume odor. Clumps well and there is minimal tracking. The bag is stronger and easier to store, carry, empty and discard than the box.

I needed to switch litters several months ago and did some research on what was available. I decided to switch back to FreshStep and selected Ultra Unscented to try as I was interested in finding out how well it controlled litter odors as marketed for the product. It works great. I have a multi cat household so I need a product that not only is easy to clean up but also controls odors from body waste and bacteria in the litter. The low dust feature is a plus. The last brand I used was marketed as low dust but I could still see billows of dust above the litter box when I changed or cleaned the litter. My cats are all the happier for the improvement in litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the classic litter for more than 15 years and I recently bought the simply unscented clumping litter, and I love it. The litter does a good job controlling odors and there's less dust and no fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is terrible. I am allergic to chemicals and this smells like deodorizer even though it's supposed to be unscented. I can barely stand to have it in my house. It also makes a sticky mess whenever the cat urinates, which is nearly impossible to scrape off the bottom and sides of the box. I will not buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product cause the company NO LONGER makes the multi cat unscented. I DO NOT care for the changes. It's is way to fine. It sticks to my cats paws. It clumps to well..i clean the pans regularly and it was very difficult to get out of the bottom of the pans. Plus getting to the paw points nearly impossible. And all the new unscented are only available in big boxes (20-25 IBS )..not 7 IBS bag. I've been a loyal fresh step customer for many years, but if the company doesn't make some changes it may be a deal breaker.

Originally purchased the new low track version but the cats still tracked litter - just larger pieces of litter but I liked the tighter clumping. With the old formula after a few cleanings the litter that remained just didn't clump as tightly and they would crumble when scooped but not the new ultra unscented - clumps tight straight on through litter box clean out.
