[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Ultra Unscented to get Paw Points to support my favorite cat rescue. Turned out to be a really good thing. My cats like this SO much better. I ended up changing all 4 litter boxes at once instead of 1 at a time since they were all using the box with the Ultra Unscented and not the other ones. Ultra Unscented clumps a lot better than Tidy Cats ever did. I wasn't sure how the unscented would work. It works very well. I smell the litter boxes a lot less and it doesn't have that perfume over urine/poo smell. I wish I would have switched years ago. I also like that the push tab actually works.

I've tried other clumping litters and will never stray from Fresh Step again. It's by far the best and the Ultra Unscented is my personal fave. It's great because it doesn't bother my allergies because of certain ingredients. My cats seem to prefer it too. The only thing that could make it better is if the 42lb bags came in the compact packaging and were available at my local pet store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great cat litter for keeping the litter box fresh and clean! I have two cats, an older adult and kitten. Initially, I purchased this litter a few years ago because my older cat has a history of urinary tract infections. I read that an unscented litter was best for this issue. Since then, he has had no other urinary issues. Although this litter is unscented, there is no odor from the litter box and low tracking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried other clumping litters and find that Fresh Step works the best. And now that it has low dust, it is even better. I wish they would stop making scented litters. Studies show cats do NOT like scented litter.

We have used this litter all 14 years of our cat’s life. She is very picky and will not use scented. I have noticed recently the formula change and am not at all happy with the change. We go through a lot more litter because the pee causes huge nasty clumps. It is hard to scoop and is allowing more smell. Please bring back the old formula.

This product is amazing it acutally stood up to 5 cats and we didnt have the smell with other litter product. I'm not crazy about the high costs but its worth it to not have the smell and mess the other products leave behind. If you want a litter that works I strongly suggest Fresh Step.

Have been a loyal customer buying this product for years. Difficultly sourcing about last 6 months. Just found & bought our regular “simply unscented,” but the box was incorrectly filled with unhealthy fragrances. Yuck! Added fragrances and dyes are unhealthy for all.

We have been using a 24/7 litter from another brand . We switched to one other in that brand , and the odor was still bad. So on a whim we tried Fresh Step Simply Unscented!! Not only does it control the Oder of 4 cats, it’s got nearly no dust !, All 7 of us are in heaven now !

I love this litter, Fresh Step has always been my favorite clumping litter. I've tried others and always come back to Fresh Step. The unscented is the best. I don't think cats like scented litter and most of the time the scents aren't pleasant to us humans either, I myself prefer unscented. Excellent litter.

Just recently this formerly feral cat decided to move into my house within a week I had taken him to the vet for all of his shots and to get neutered. Then when I brought him home two days ago, I started training him with the litter box. I had started with a different litter that had been recommended by a store employee however even though it clumped well, I was having throat swelling and wheezing/breathing difficulties every time I got near the litter box or had to scoop. Last night I changed out the litter box to the fresh step unscented and I am no longer having throat swelling and breathing difficulties every time I scoop the walk near the litter box just after it has been used. This is such a huge difference and literally a life saver!
