It has been years since I have tried a different litter, but I was getting tired of the large pieces of sharp "gravel" that would constantly get scattered all over the house. I am guessing our 2 cats did not enjoy stepping on the sharp rocks either! I knew whatever litter I chose had to be clumping (due to my 14 year old cat's kidney issues) and had to be unscented (due to my 14 year old cat's respiratory issues) Diva had no problem accepting this litter and we are looking forward to trying the other clumping unscented options that Fresh Step has to offer us. I have gotten this from my local shelter twice when I got both of my cats and i was skeptical that it was not gonna hide the cats smells but it definitely lasted. I do struggle with the cardboard boxes every time to have it pour out litter. As well as the codes are easy to read but the paw points would not recognize it. But Coustmer service fixed it for me and gave me points!

We have been using Fresh Step unscented cat litter for about a month now and are very happy. This litter is carried at all our local retailers, it’s half the price of the pet store litter we had been using and it works just as well. It forms strong clumps that are easy to scoop and does not cling to the bottom of the litter box. There is no dust when pouring and the box was easy to open and store. Overall a great value.

I have been buying this litter for a number of years. I wish I had been aware that I could have been earning points on all of my purchases. I am on a limited income, and the savings would have helped me tremendously. I like the fact that it is unscented, my two cats prefer that and so do I!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This litter works extremely well, clumps perfectly and scoops easily. My cat prefers the unscented and feel of this litter on her paws. It's low dust when pouring, settles quickly. My only issue is with the barcode, Fresh Step, please put the barcode on the top of the box. It's much easier when purchasing. You can leave it in the cart and the cashier doesn't have to move it around to scan it.

We've been using this for a few weeks now. It works just as well as the the regular, but without the cloud of dust that usually accompanies a fresh litter box change. As usual, Fresh Step is the best out there when it comes to getting rid of odors, without having to mask the smell with a scent.

Over the years, I've invested a large sums of money into cat litter; trying to find one that lives up to it's disclaimer. There was a Black Friday special on Fresh Step Ultra Unscented Litter , 42 lb. bag. For the price, I couldn't resist. Plus, I was away visiting family for the holidays and forgot to bring her backup bag of litter (different brand). Boy, I couldn't believe how well this worked. Driving back in a small SVU, I couldn't smell anything! I live in a small house and all it took was one "load" to have you running for the sprinkle scent destroyers with her previous litter brands. I no longer use the litter box deodorizers since I started using Fresh Step Ultra Unscented Litter. I now have to check to make sure she is using the litter box. Give this brand a try. The price is reasonable compare to other litter brands. I truly believe you will be pleased.

I bought this because my usual unscented litter was out of stock. By comparison this litter is heavily fragranced. My cats smell like the litter, the dust in my apartment smells like the litter, and when I make my bed the scent of litter fills the room.
