[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Fresh Step Ultra Unscented litter for my three cats. It works really well. Our litter box is located near our kitchen but with the Fresh Step litter, you can't even tell it is there. There is no smell at all. My cats have no problem at all with using the litter box. I really like it and would definitely consider using again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used several brands of litter over many years, but Fresh Step is by far the best brand out there. Clumping and odor control are exceptional features that we greatly appreciate as we have several cats.

I have been using this litter for awhile now in a 5 cat house. It controls odors very well and the clumps are solid. No breaking apart when scooping. I am very happy with the litter, but not so happy with the new packaging for the 42 pound size. There is way too much packaging involved. Please go back to the old packaging.

Because my litter box is in close quarters where i sleep. And the cat likes it. Fresh Step I've been using for years for my cat is best out there!

I use for my 3 little boxes to my 7 cats. Honestly I love this litter. I have allergies to a lot of fragrances and so need to avoid heavy fragrances in litters but I hate having litters not work and cover the smells. And this stuff does work and even with my large number of cats can go almost a week before developing a smell even without keeping up with scooping. Scooping and refreshing the litter hides the scent completely. So yeah I'm way too happy with the stupid stuff but it works

I like that it comes in separate 10.5 pound bags. I recently got two kittens. I've tried a lot of litter. This Fresh Step litter has great clumping, which means kittens and cats fling and track less litter on the floor than non clumping ,and even other Clumping litters. It beats the ones I 've gotten Walmart (Kitty Diggings,Special Kitty, Cat's Pride,Arm %26 Hammer Natural with Corn Husk, and the Red regular not the light weight, Tidy Cat Clumping 24/7 litter) on clumping and tracking. However, it's a smaller grain litter. It takes a lot more of this Fresh Step litter to get the same depth in my kittens Stainless steel litter box. It took only 10 pounds of any of the brands to get decent spread and depth. It takes 2 bags of this Fresh Step to get the same depth that's over 20 pounds of litter. This Fresh Step doesn't have good Odor Control. Scouping out used litter 2 times a day this Fresh Step litter has about the same amount of odor control as cheaper kinds of litter. It only last 5 to 7 days before you have to throw it all away and start over. On the plus side because of the great clumping there's not much used litter left to throw away so it's very light and easy to toss. If you're really scraping up the waste products you can possibly get a little longer if you don't mind the smell. So far the best solution I have found for Odor is a bag of cheap clay( Kitty Diggings) litter on the bottom of the box and about 5 pounds or 1/4 container of the regular 24/7 Tidy Cat. So if you scoup twice a day, it comes down to do you want less tracking and great clumping or have a litter that you have to use twice as much to get decent spread but get less odor control than with regular 24/7Tidy Cat? Here's what one 10.5 pound bag of this Fresh Step looks like in a metal litter box that's got a plastic bag liner. See the empty spots?

The last couple purchases we have made have been getting worse. I have been using this litter for years and never had a problem. Used to use the free and clear until you got rid of it. My husband has asthma so we got this to help. This Kate’s batch has us both struggling to breathe when the litter is poured or cleaned and our room is covered in dust every time we put new litter in. Both cats have also started sneezing a lot more because of it. We were not aware of a formula change and while we don’t mind the color we do mind not being able to breathe around the litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Ultra unscented for my cat and I am experiencing a very dusty room where the litter box sits. The box says low dust but it is not. My neighbor uses the Simply Unscented for his cat and swears he has no dust plumes while scooping. Then when I took care of his cat while he was on vacation, I saw for myself that the Simply Unscented had no dust plumes. I am switching to this! I do not know the difference between the Ultra and the Simply but clearly there is a difference in the amount of dust while scooping.

What's going on with your Simply Unscented Free From Added Fragrances and Dyes Litter? The last two purchases I made (10 lb. bags and 25 lb. box) are not fragrance free and the granules are almost sand like, leaving dust everywhere. Please go back to the original formula or I'm done purchasing this product, which is the litter my cats liked the most (until recently). I just added litter to my cat's box upstairs and I can smell the fragrance downstairs in my living room. This is false advertising and you need to correct this now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step Litter was suprisingly good. I have never tried this brand before. I have always only stuck to one brand. I do have one spaz cat though that would carry litter out of the box sometimes. But that is really my only complaint. Other than that I loved it. I will most likely be switched brands.
