I bought this recently and have been very impressed with the clumping, much less scraping of the bottom of the pan. and the odor control is good for 2 cats. I don't like buying the scented litters especially since I have a special needs cat who might me more sensitive to things like that.

I've been using for a year now for five cats. Pros: Unscented so allergies are not at all effected, clumps well, cats are not turned away by smell of other cats using a box (I have four in the house). Cons: Box is heavy so I have it shipped from Amazon. Thus far price has been competitive.

I love this litter! The clumps do not break up when scooping. There is no odor detectable in between litter changes. The new low dust formula really is low dust! The unscented formula is very important to me as I have read cats do not like scented litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only litter that does not cause a stinky cat litter box. I like that it clumps and is easy to scoop and put away into the Litter Genie. Yes, it is dusty but I pour in slowly and allow the dust to settle before I let the cat get near it. When my cat has a stinky litter box she will refuse to use it and go other places in the house. This is a problem no more. I don't have to use the cat litter deodorizer any more either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started using about a year ago when the Febreze came out. Pretty soon I noticed when the cat walked by or was in a loving mood, she smelled like Febreze. Changed to the unscented and think Fresh Step is the best thing since cats!!

I switched to using this litter because the litter I was using before was making my cat unhappy. She would urinatee on my furniture. Now that I use this litter she is happy and only uses her litter. It is also relatively easy to clean and doesn't produce a foul smell. My mom recommended I use this litter for my cat and now I will never use anything else.

After having gone through 10+ different brands & 15+ types trying to find a litter that ALL my cats like I decided to give this one a try. I scooped the litter into all our boxes and viola, all my cats like this litter! I love it because of the price, the fact that it's ACTUALLY unscented, low dust and I have yet to have any odor problems! Only problems I have with it is the packaging: the handle isn't very easy to hold and the bag ripped along the seam as I was opening it. Otherwise, awesome litter!

I was using Fresh Step Unscented Extreme 42lb bag (Blue and Yellow Bag). Honestly I didn't have one complaint about that litter and either did anyone else as it was always rated a FULL 5 stars wherever I looked. To my dismay they discontinued that product recently and I started to buy Fresh Step Ultra Unscented Clumping. At first I was pleased with the switch. But since then I have noticed that the litter does not clump as well as the previous product. I have two kittens and 2 litter boxes. I was able to go 14 days before I had to clean the pans. Now I feel like I have to clean the pans in 10 days as the urine does not clump well and sticks to the pan. Very rarely does the little clump into hard balls like in the past but a clump that is wet and easy for the scooper to break open and get into the remaining litter. I also feel like the litter is sticking to their paws more and getting tracked through the house more...which means more vacuuming for mommy.

They don't like scented products and they also prefer a more gravel-like texure. Fresh Step offers quite a few choices, but I chose I chose Fresh Step Ultra Unscented Litter. Both cats and I were pleased with the results! It was truly unscented and controlled the litter box odors very well. The texture was just right -not sandy or dusty like many litters I've tried. The clumps held tightly too, making for easy clean-up. I will definitely recommend Fresh Step to others!
