[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using Fresh Step for over 20 years. Tried others and always come back. Works great. Presently have 2 cats with 2 boxes. Clean then 2-3x week. Have had up to 4 cats with 3 boxes and have always been happy. Box is located in basement. Have had it in small alcove off living room and smell was never an issue; moved to basement when curious dog joined the household. We use two mats and still get some liter outside the boxes and tracked about 4-5 feet away. We use unscented because of cats strong noses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago to compare with what I was using. This is so munch better. I haven't seen a better product. Clean-up is easier, no odors or dust. My male cat waits for me to get out of the way when I clean it daily. He just loves to jump into the box for that fresh use immediately after I finish the cleaning. So there must be a secret ingredient that makes him love it, too!

I bought this to replace the discontinued Ultra Unscented litter. Let's say the simply unscented litter is not dust free. I get dust clouds that settle on myself and on furniture near the litter box. I don't even pour the litter from a tall height either; close to the bottom of the litter box as possible! I have to either step aside for a minute or wear a mask, no really! Also, the litter is not unscented. It has a light perfume smell that I smell on my clothes after every time I scoop her litter and on my cat. I know every time she uses the litter. Not great for someone with scent sensitivities and allergies, and not to mention the poor cat covered in perfume! The discontinued ultra unscented litter did everything it promised, low dust and truly unscented. Please bring this version back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats can be a little particular when it comes to litter. They don't want the scents, which is what I love due to it helping the odor. So I got the Ultra Unscented and not only did they have no problems with it, I loved it. No scent from litter or cats! Will be buying!

Recently I purchased this litter to try with a litter of kittens that I was fostering. I thought the unscented would be better suited for them considering sometimes kittens can be a bit picky. The litter had low dust, and had virtually no scent, and left barely any tracking or odor. Overall I'd probably give it a thumbs up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this litter, I am normally use to a lot of litter as you pour it into the box you get massive amount of dust this had none that I could see. Also very low tracking and holds the smells in check, overall an amazing product.

I bought 42 lbs of the Ultra Unscented clumping litter just to find out that it is not as advertised. This litter is not unscented. It has a perfume smell to it. It may be less scented than the other formulas, but it is NOT unscented. I am very disappointed to have wasted my money, not to mention my time. I now have to make another trip to the store and spend more money to get a truly unscented litter. Fresh Step PLEASE rename this litter. Please do not change meaning of the word "unscented" for those that count on it meaning "no scent". You can use "low scent" or "naturally scented" or "lightly scented", but PLEASE do not call it "unscented".

My cat is a brat.... He is picky of his box gets even close to 7 days... I tested the 10 days I cohkndt believe it. He has no problem going on his box and there is no smell!! I won't always text it to 10 days, but it's good to know in case I'm in a situation that doenst allow me to change it before then. Wow. And I have been using other stuff for years... This is it for me. I love this stuff for my little guy!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is terrible. I am allergic to chemicals and this smells like deodorizer even though it's supposed to be unscented. I can barely stand to have it in my house. It also makes a sticky mess whenever the cat urinates, which is nearly impossible to scrape off the bottom and sides of the box. I will not buy it again.

It's unscented for real, unlike others that claim to be unscented, and it still covers up the smell so well! it doesn't mask the smell with another smell like scented litters, the smell is just gone.
