We've been using this for a few weeks now. It works just as well as the the regular, but without the cloud of dust that usually accompanies a fresh litter box change. As usual, Fresh Step is the best out there when it comes to getting rid of odors, without having to mask the smell with a scent.

My cat does not like strong odors, he will urinate outside of his box if the scent of the litter is too fragrant. After switching to this litter I haven't had another problem and it actually masks the odor of the urine better than the scented litters. It clumps really well too.

This is currently my preferred litter of all of Fresh Step's selections. I have two cats with two giant litterboxes in a small apartment and it doesn't "smell like a cat" in my place. Excellent clumping litter with great odor control without being scented or dusty -- wouldn't have it any other way.

I bought this about 2 months ago to try it since there appear to be changes to the formula and it seems to be less dusty than the triple action and scented varieties. If you are scooping the box regularly (at least 2 times a week or more) and changing out the litter this is better especially for cats sensitive to scents and dust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product cause the company NO LONGER makes the multi cat unscented. I DO NOT care for the changes. It's is way to fine. It sticks to my cats paws. It clumps to well..i clean the pans regularly and it was very difficult to get out of the bottom of the pans. Plus getting to the paw points nearly impossible. And all the new unscented are only available in big boxes (20-25 IBS )..not 7 IBS bag. I've been a loyal fresh step customer for many years, but if the company doesn't make some changes it may be a deal breaker.

My cat hates anything with a scent and this is literally the only type she uses. If I buy another type then she will refuse to go in her litterbox which just makes both of us unhappy.

This liter is so great. Certain scents and sometimes strong scents trigger headaches. This litter is scent free and weirdly low on dust, Even though it's scent free it keeps the liter box fresh and ammonia free smelling so my home doesnt smell like i own several indoor cats.

Bought this at Sam's Club last week to try, I liked that it said Low Dust ( but most do!). Anyway, I just changed the two litter boxes & I couldn't believe there was no dust cloud when I poured it into the pans like I have had with every other brand. The cats haven't given their opinion yet :) but we shall see.

I bought 42 lbs of the Ultra Unscented clumping litter just to find out that it is not as advertised. This litter is not unscented. It has a perfume smell to it. It may be less scented than the other formulas, but it is NOT unscented. I am very disappointed to have wasted my money, not to mention my time. I now have to make another trip to the store and spend more money to get a truly unscented litter. Fresh Step PLEASE rename this litter. Please do not change meaning of the word "unscented" for those that count on it meaning "no scent". You can use "low scent" or "naturally scented" or "lightly scented", but PLEASE do not call it "unscented".
