I have gotten this from my local shelter twice when I got both of my cats and i was skeptical that it was not gonna hide the cats smells but it definitely lasted. I do struggle with the cardboard boxes every time to have it pour out litter. As well as the codes are easy to read but the paw points would not recognize it. But Coustmer service fixed it for me and gave me points!

What's going on with your Simply Unscented Free From Added Fragrances and Dyes Litter? The last two purchases I made (10 lb. bags and 25 lb. box) are not fragrance free and the granules are almost sand like, leaving dust everywhere. Please go back to the original formula or I'm done purchasing this product, which is the litter my cats liked the most (until recently). I just added litter to my cat's box upstairs and I can smell the fragrance downstairs in my living room. This is false advertising and you need to correct this now!

I cannot stand litters with a fragrance in them. I tried tidy cats, but even the ones with no fragrance added had really strong smells to them that you instantly noticed when you walked in a room. So after a lot of research I thought that I would try the Ultra Unscented. It is very much unscented and seems to get the job done well. Sometimes clumps break down really easily, but that usually around 3 weeks when it needs to be changed. It also seems to be low tracking which is nice. I just wish that the packaging was more durable. I usually end up buying ones that have small rips in them so I have to carefully inspect the packaging now. Overall, I would definitely recommend this litter, especially for those that do not like the fragrance-based litters.

I would have wanted the litter to be a little better. The little still smelled a lite bit after my cats use and it tracked litter from the litter box onto the cats paws and i was not a big fan of that attribute. So glad that I tried the unscented; our vet recommended unscented due to some of the chemicals in kitty litter can harm their paws....our kitty's paws are seeming so much better...didn't know that unscented cat litter could work so good! Thanks Fresh Step!

I try to avoid scented litters because I find them to be a bit overwhelming. This unscented option does a great job of keeping down potty smells without casting a heavy perfume scent. Plus it clumps tightly. The only area for improvement is in packaging. The handle cuts into the skin and sometimes rips loose.

Simply Unscented works well with clumping and still keeping odors down, but it is very dusty, despite being "low dust". By the time I finish scooping boxes, my glasses lenses are covered in dust, and I can only imagine how much I'm breathing in It's still my go-to, because I have a cat that HATES strongly scented litter, but I do mix it with another brand's no-dust litter (which, unfortunately, has a faint fragrance) to help cut down on the dustiness. Also, having a vacuum running with the hose right by the boxes does help keep some of the cloud away from my face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried it cause our cat's urine seemed to be strong odor & she had running eyes due to perfumes in the litter. We also had to go out of state overnight & could not take her on our road trip. The litter was REALLY great for her & an overnight.

The room smells clean and I don't really notice dust. The cat's paws remain mostly clean and better than from other litter. There's no gross "scented" masking smells with this great unscented litter. Dries up the cat's business quickly so we are all happy!
