We was wrong the product did not smell! We sound found out after 4 cats used the box each day we was wrong! It actually works just as good as the Free breeze style litter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have many allergies and find that the new "Simply Unscented" fresh step doesn't bother me. I have three indoor cats, so I have three litter boxes to keep clean. It is much better with the new litter.

So glad that I tried the unscented; our vet recommended unscented due to some of the chemicals in kitty litter can harm their paws....our kitty's paws are seeming so much better...didn't know that unscented cat litter could work so good! Thanks Fresh Step!

I have 7 cats. I run 5 litter boxes. . A competitor that I was using changed (and increased) the scent in their litter. My house reeked. Fresh Step was the first unscented litter I have tried., It truly is unscented - even when you don't clean the litter boxes as often as you should. For this, I am extremely pleased. . However, Fresh Step does turn into cement, bonds to plastic litter boxes, and forms really LARGE clumps when one clump comes in contact with another. As above, if you don't clean the litter boxes as often as you should, it can be a real struggle to scrape it from the box, and lift humongous clumps out. I recently bought a heavy metal scoop, which helps immensely, but you still need 2 hands to use it to work the clumps free. So if you are weighing "unscented" against "cement", the unscented wins hands down. I will gladly struggle with the cleaning in exchange for a clean smelling house.

After having gone through several other litters, I finally settled on this Fresh Step UltraUnscented litter. My cats track litter all the time, and this has been the lowest tracking I've used. (Still tracks, but much less than with other litters.). I'll continue buying this litter.

My husband brought this home 2 weeks ago because finding unscented litter is very difficult. I am very sensitive to odors, especially perfume or artificial scent types of odors. Even a slight whiff can give me a terrible headache. Of course we don't want the house to smell like a litter box either, so it has been a difficult problem! This litter is just INCREDIBLE! It handles the odor with no problem. It doesn't get tracked all over the house. It is easy to scoop. It may be a little bit more expensive than some of the no-name brands, but it is well worth the price. It performs 100 times better than every other brand on the market, and it does it without an odor that makes me sick! Who could ask for more? I am very picky about what I am willing to pay more for, and I am willing to pay for this product. It is completely worth the price, especially as it is only a little bit more expensive than the other brands! This litter clumps solidly, making it easy to scoop. It does NOT turn into a mass of concrete on the bottom of the box. Other litters seem to do this, and it makes our cat incredibly unhappy. He will walk to his box and look at it, then come to us and meow until we go and chip the concrete like litter out and replace it. It is NOT fun at midnight, let me tell you!! This litter never creates this concrete mass in his box, so he doesn't get upset like that. It makes me a very happy mom to Captain Morgan (my cat). In our house, when Captain Morgan isn't happy, NO ONE is happy!! So we will be sticking with this litter, which sticks, but doesn't make concrete!

Good clumping, low dust and I don't notice odors (when kitty covers her business !) and neither do house guests who give honest opinions. I do scoop daily and use a litter genie. I feel it tracks as much as the "low-tracking" product so I will stick with this one.

My husband is very sensitive to cat litter dust and the previous brand we used created a lot of it. A friend recommended Fresh Step Ultra Unscented to us and said she found it to have very low dust and it clumped very well. Man was she right. This litter produces very little dust which has made my husband very happy. It also the clumping ability is pure magic. Seriously, I don't have to worry about pieces of litter falling through the scoop. Everything stays in one piece. Fresh Step you have found a customer for life.

Don't buy any scented stuff, or stuff with baking soda or whatever; Harry will not use it. Thank you for making this UNSCENTED product for us.
