I have used fresh step cat litter all of my adult life and I am nearly 60 years old. Recently, your product has changed It's formula. You had the best product on the market. Why change it? To save a little money? Your sales will definitely be declining. I am looking for another litter.

I always buy unscented Fresh Step, when I saw it had changed recently and was now low-dust, I was hoping for the best. I WAS NOT disappointed! This litter still clumps and scoops as well and not having as much litter dust is a bonus! I have 3 cats and the unscented works great ~won't change litter brands for anything!!

Just recently this formerly feral cat decided to move into my house within a week I had taken him to the vet for all of his shots and to get neutered. Then when I brought him home two days ago, I started training him with the litter box. I had started with a different litter that had been recommended by a store employee however even though it clumped well, I was having throat swelling and wheezing/breathing difficulties every time I got near the litter box or had to scoop. Last night I changed out the litter box to the fresh step unscented and I am no longer having throat swelling and breathing difficulties every time I scoop the walk near the litter box just after it has been used. This is such a huge difference and literally a life saver!

I walk past the room with the litter box in it every day and no longer even noticed it! Scoping clumps is a breeze and it's relatively clean (i.e. it doesn't track).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a while now and prefer it to other types/brands. It has zero scent and traps odors well. I only have one cat and replace all the litter about every 6 weeks. Clumps are tight and don't leave caked-on residue on the scoop like the store brand I used to buy did. I scoop nearly everyday and you'd never know there is a litter box in my laundry room. I like that it's unscented so there is no weird scent that permeates the entire room.

I bought this product because my cat was diagnosed with asthma and I needed something that was less dusty and unscented. When I buy a product that says ultra unscented I expect that to mean it has no scent. And yet this litter has a distinct perfume odor. I was buying a cheaper brand of litter but gave this a try and am very disappointed. It seems to be affecting my cats asthma more because of the scent. I don't understand how an unscented cat litter can have a scent of perfume unless they put the wrong product in the packaging. Plus the clumping seems more like cement and is harder to scoop from the box even after waiting an hour or two after cat uses box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought fresh step ultra unscented litter and it was just okay? It exactly what you would expect to get from cat litter. I would have wanted the litter to be a little better. The little still smelled a lite bit after my cats use and it tracked litter from the litter box onto the cats paws and i was not a big fan of that attribute. One of my favorite litters. I'm sensitive to smells, and I want my two cats to be happy, so I like unscented. It is very lightly scented, but it's not bad. And it keeps odors down really well. My cats have never had problems with it (nor have they with any other litter, though. Just fyi). I wish we had recycling services here for the box, though.
