First thing about this lotion, the smell. I LOVE the smell. I keep it bedside and it's my favorite to use before bed. Hydrates really well without leaving you sticky. My hands often feel really dry and I will use this and by morning my hands are soft and healed. I would recommend. I also highly recommend when pregnant! Honestly thought I purchased the wrong lotion and had to go check the bottle. This smells so awful; nothing at all like lavender. Someone else compared it to scented feminine products and that’s spot on. I’ve used this lotion for so many years as part of my nightly routine but there’s absolutely no way I’m putting this on before bed anymore. So disappointed I’ll have to start a search for a new product. Would be nice if you put some sort of label on the bottle that you changed the formula so your customers are aware; especially ones like me who buy the giant bottle (and a hand cream!).

I would not recommend the new formula to any of my friends and family. The fragrance is intensely artificial. The texture quickly absorbs but does not offer any semblance of hydration or skin protection but leaves behind the awful scent that lasts for hours. The new formula pales in comparison to the original which was a major cult classic.

I have purchased this product for decades because I liked the smell. Just opened a new bottle and realized the scent has been changed. No more ylang ylang. If I had known I would have not bought this new bottle. Now I will be either throwing or giving it away, if anyone else even wants it. The new scent is not even close to the old one and I do not find it remotely appealing. I will no longer buy this product, and am disappointed that Aveeno didn’t advertise the “new” formula or “new” scent on the label, so consumers could make an informed decision about buying it.

I have been using Aveeno stress relief lavender lotion for many, many years. And now I hate the new formula, it smells like baby lotion and even the feel of the lotion itself is different. I have 2 of the large bottles and I suppose I will finish them, but highly doubt I will buy them again. So disappointed, it was my favorite lotion.

I was gifted this superb product by a fellow influenster. I have used Aveeno products for years, with great results. This product didn't let me down. It delivers as expected. Non GMO, paraben free, dye free and specially formulated for sensitive skin.

I have oily/sensitive skin, and this provides the perfect amount of moisture for my oily skin. In addition, the scent is very calming and relaxing, smells so good, and a perfect moisturizer to wear underneath makeup! This moisturizer is especially great for the winter season because my skin never gets dry. It is also not too heavy of a scent at all! I’ve experimented using other moisturizers, such as pond’s and cetaphil, but my skin would ALWAYS breakout. My skin LOVES this product so much, and I will definitely continue to use this product forever!<3

I was given a gift of this lotion and the matching body wash after having my baby. It was a great gift as it made me feel good about myself. It had a great smell, made me feel good to do something nice for myself and it was safe to snuggle with baby after applying to my skin. Nothing but praises here!!! Since then, I have included these products at baby showers for the new moms.

You all have recently changed the formula. While I think the smell is a bit more lovely, it does not moisturize my skin as well as prior to this formula change. This is kind of devastating for me since I’ve been using that old formula since I was in like the 7th grade
