Really disappointed in the new formula. Aside from the absolutely awful new smell, the lotion has a sticky/tacky feel that clings to your skin. I used to apply the classic and beloved formula (purple cap with chamomile and ylang ylang) after a shower & before getting into bed but this new formula feels horrible sitting on top of my skin and leaves my sheets all sticky. I had to re-shower before getting into bed. My husband uses the classic unscented formula (albeit, Aveeno's true staple), and as an experiment I tried the new formula of that one too with the SAME RESULT. It's evident Aveeno had tossed most (or all) of their tried and true products and replaced them with cheap, subpar formulas that we will no longer be purchasing. What would it take for the brand to switch back? All of their reviews have just done downhill. What a shame!

No company has ever done me this dirty. I've used Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion for over 15 years. I had a huge bottle that lasted a long time, finally finished that and purchased a new one last week. What a shock when I pumped a handful and caught a whiff. That lovely, calming, familiar scent is non-existent. I thought it was a mistake, that I'd grabbed the wrong one, or it was a fake. Until I got online and confirmed that I'm not the only one upset. This seriously feels like a breakup.

Why on earth would you change something that has been working for so many people for so many years? Because you are greedy and don't actually care about your consumers. I have had to seek medical attention for what the NEW FORMULA (not "new look", such a pathetic and irresponsible way to notify your consumers that you have completely changed what worked for them and actually cause harm and not just a freaking cap color to BROWN) has done to my skin on my face and my body. Make this right or you will reep what you sew.

I love this product I've been using it for years and I refuse to waste my money and time of buying any other lotions. Aveeno keeps my skin smooth soft and healthy unlike all the other water down lotions with perfume that doesn't give my skin the nutrients it needs. I will recommend Aveeno to anyone. It's great for those who have dry skin,eczema, and those who have sensitive skin.

The stress relief line was my favorite lotion for years because it smelled so good. This new lotion smells absolutely horrible. It's cheap and artificial. It appears customer satisfaction is not a priority which is almost as disappointing and the new lotion itself. I will no longer be buying Aveeno.

I bought the new formula of the Aveeno Stress Relief body wash and it is absolutely awful. It burns my skin, is drying and has an abrasive new sent. I have happily used this product for years. PLEASE go back to the original wonderful product that didn’t need “an upgrade.” It feels like I’m washing with a caustic chemical. I by the large bottle every time and this one is getting thrown in the trash.

New formula is VERY disappointing! Doesn’t smell good. Doesn’t relieve stress. You should have this product for sensitive skin in addition to but not instead of the original formula (lavender camomile and ylang oils). Sellers are using the old image of stress relief lotion to bait customers, but are filling orders with the new formula product. Very stressful!!! AVEENO, PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA OF STRESS RELIEF LOTION.

I loved the previous scent - it's way too sweet now. I understand the need to reformulate sometimes for various reasons, but why did you have to change the scent? Is it a supply issue with the ingredients? Or maybe the other formula isn't as cost effective as it used to be? If it's the latter, all I can say is I'd rather spend a little more for a bottle of the lotion I like than waste money on something I won't use. It's supposed to be stress relieving and all it did was frustrate and annoy me when I smelled it. Now I have a full, giant bottle sitting on the table next to the old one that I've cut in half so I can get to the little bit still clinging to the inside. Please bring back the old formula!

I have used this lotion for years as I have extremely sensitive skin and most lotions either give me hives, rashes, or just make me extremely itchy. I recently ran out and bought a new bottle and the smell is awful and within 10 minutes I am already covered in hives. If you are looking for the previously loved lotion, this is not it. I definitely won’t be recommending this to family and friends anymore nor will I be buying it again unless it goes back to the old formula.

I've used this lotion (the formula with chamomile and ylang ylang) for many many years and am so disappointed in the new version. It does not smell fresh, clean and calming like it used to. It now smells artificial and chemical-heavy. Definitely not for sensitive skin. I also noticed it leaves my skin very dry in just a short amount of time after applying. I will not be buying Aveeno again until the old formula is brought back.
