This new formula is absolutely awful. It smells like highly-synthetic perfume and feels sticky and tacky, like it just sits there on your skin until you wash it off. Aveeno took out the Chamomile and Ylang-Ylang and just ruined the whole product. Will no longer be purchasing the one product that has been a staple of mine for 15 years. I no longer trust Aveeno.

I was given a gift of this lotion and the matching body wash after having my baby. It was a great gift as it made me feel good about myself. It had a great smell, made me feel good to do something nice for myself and it was safe to snuggle with baby after applying to my skin. Nothing but praises here!!! Since then, I have included these products at baby showers for the new moms.

I've used this lotion with this scent for many years, and it's been my absolute favorite. The new fragrance is way too strong and not good. My eyes are stinging just smelling it. I just put it on my hands as usual, and the scent is overbearing. After all these years, I will need to switch to another brand. And my hands feel a bit greasy. I must wash my hands to get this awful strong scent off me. I feel it in my lungs. Unfortunately, I bought two bottles. What a waste. Hard to believe this is dermatologist tested. Why did you change what worked for years and years?

No company has ever done me this dirty. I've used Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion for over 15 years. I had a huge bottle that lasted a long time, finally finished that and purchased a new one last week. What a shock when I pumped a handful and caught a whiff. That lovely, calming, familiar scent is non-existent. I thought it was a mistake, that I'd grabbed the wrong one, or it was a fake. Until I got online and confirmed that I'm not the only one upset. This seriously feels like a breakup.

The stress relief line was my favorite lotion for years because it smelled so good. This new lotion smells absolutely horrible. It's cheap and artificial. It appears customer satisfaction is not a priority which is almost as disappointing and the new lotion itself. I will no longer be buying Aveeno.

Aveeno stress relief moisturing lotion is a lotion I've been using for a long time. I love the smell of lavender, and it is very relaxing after showers while also being moisturing. I also love that, unlike most lotions, it has a pump lid, which is easier to use and also helps keep you from accidently getting too much. The texture is a bit think compared to some other lotions I've used, but I don't mind because I feel like it is more hydrating and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy.

I hate this lotion! I guess I should have smelled it before I purchased it. The smell is overpowering and nauseating. I put it on the first time and washed it off immediately. I keep trying to adjust to the smell, but it's just too much. I will be throwing the rest of the bottle away. You've been warned - the smell is obnoxious.

I'm very sensitive to scents and have purchased the Lotion with Lavender, Natural Oatmeal and Chamomile & Ylang-Ylang Essential Oils product for years because I truly liked the smell and it was a wonderful moisturizer leaving the skin soft. However, this new formula and scent are not even close to the old one and I do not find it remotely appealing. I will no longer buy this product. AVEENO, PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA OF STRESS RELIEF LOTION, THAT WAS JUST PERFECT. Why to change something that was working so well?

I placed an online grocery order and thought the shopper grabbed the wrong lotion on accident. I used it and it smelled different. Bit calming, but rather stressful my usual lavender and chamomile was not the same. I had a little bit left in my old bottle and compared them. The new formula is Lavendar only and say Calming. The smell is not the same and is very weak. You can't smell it on your skin. Lavender is one of my favorite scents in the world, but this product is disappointing. Also, the softness of your skin you get from using the original version, even hours later, didn't seem to happen with this new formula. Please Bring back the original version.

The new Aveeno Stress Relief Body Lotion Lavender Scent smells exactly like Johnson’s Baby Bedtime lotion. It seems like the parent company, Johnson & Johnson, cut corners by distributing the same fragrance across two brands. I’m highly disappointed and I will be taking my business elsewhere to a company that is reliable and consistent, which I thought Aveeno was.
