This used to be my favorite lotion but the new formula/scent makes me ill. It no longer smells remotely like lavender or anything in the natural world whatsoever. It's also sickeningly strong, I had to wash it off my skin right after putting it on because I got an immediate headache (and I'm not scent-sensitive at all, I love fragrance and perfume). The best way I can describe the new scent is that it smells like the worst brand of laundry detergent. What did you do Aveeno, I trusted you! Oh well, I'll be switching to another brand.

I absolutely love this lotion! It’s been my go to for a while now. It leaves my skin super soft and hydrated without feeling greasy, which is a huge plus. But honestly, the best part is the scent. It smells so good and I can still catch a hint of it on my skin hours later. It absorbs really well too, so I can throw it on and get dressed right after. Highly recommend!

New stress relief smells incredibly artificial and perfumed. It doesnt leave my skin soft or hydrated at all. The old formula was lightweight, yet still rich and absorbent and smelled wonderful. However, this replacement is horrendous. Come on Aveeno!

I used to love this lotion- especially for the scent. The new look is not just the packaging, it's a completely different lotion. It smells so bad and artificial. The old scent was so well balanced and delicate but the new fragrance is harsh and chemical-like. Even worse, it feels totally different too. It's not as hydrating. I will not be purchasing again.

I agree w/the previous review, the more products that i use, the more obsessed I become w/Aveeno! This lotion is awesome. My son has a skin condition, he doesn't produce any natural oils. So, the daily lotion regimin is our life :) I have used MANY MANY products, even some VERY expensive prescription ones (rediculous, the cost, FOR LOTION, and the TINIEST tubes! that I need to use on my sons entire body)! RIGHT. anyway, I tried Aveeno and always went back to it, i'll never buy anything else. My sons skin literally feels soft, he's 7 yrs old now and loves not having aligator/snake skin anymore (most days, winter is worse for him, of course). I buy the Stress one b/c it DOES really work and I do it before bed so I think its nice for him... for sleep...and for me, since I apply to him :)

This was my go to lotion for the way it applied, absorbed and smelled pleasant, had no clue the formula was changed and had honestly thought my scent was off, then to realize it didn’t apply as easy. Looked up online and lo and behold I knew something was off, please Avenno bring back the original formula!!

They reformulated this product and it's trash now - it smells like cheap scented tampons. I'm so upset and honestly won't touch another Aveeno product until the old formulation is back. The scent used to have lavender, chamomile, and ylang-ylang. It smelled so lovely and unique, like a lavender oatmeal cookie, just light and beautiful and creamy. It was the only lotion myself, my now-husband, and a friend bought for YEARS. We used to have full conversations about how lovely it was whenever we visited each other. I've seen reddit posts where people wanted to find perfumes that smelled like this lotion. Aveeno really messed up, as you can see from recent reviews.

I was gifted this superb product by a fellow influenster. I have used Aveeno products for years, with great results. This product didn't let me down. It delivers as expected. Non GMO, paraben free, dye free and specially formulated for sensitive skin.

This lotion smells good as it has a nice calming lavender scent. A little goes a long way it can have a slight greasy feel until it dries down and is fully rubbed into the skin. I like how it has oat in it and it is said to moisturize for 24 hours it’s also made for sensitive skin.

this lotion is so wonderful. i hate the scent of lavender, but this lotion does not have that strong lavender scent. it is an awesome blend. it goes on nicely and absorbs well. no residue or film on your skin; feels naturally soft. it is calming and relaxing. i really appreciate this product. i can't find a larger bottle though like other Aveeno lotions. Aveeno is the ONLY lotion i have used for the past 5 years. i don't even notice other brands. good quality stuff.
