I am absolutely obsessed with Aveeno's Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion! The first thing I noticed was the sleek, user-friendly pump packaging—so convenient for a quick, mess-free application. I have been using this lotion for 4 years and recently noticed that the scent has changed from lavender, chamomile and ylang ylang to just lavender and oat. I loved the original scent because of its calming and not overpoweringly floral smell and the new formula is a bit too earthy with just oat and lavender so I don’t know if I’ll continue to buy. I’m disappointed and sad because I love Aveeno and loved this lotion so much.

After using this lotion for years I have just purchased my first bottle of the reformulated product in the brown cap/pump bottle. The new product smalls terrible and has a sticky feel. Why did you change a great product? ??? I will not be purchasing this again. Bring back the original!

This used to be my favorite lotion but the new formula/scent makes me ill. It no longer smells remotely like lavender or anything in the natural world whatsoever. It's also sickeningly strong, I had to wash it off my skin right after putting it on because I got an immediate headache (and I'm not scent-sensitive at all, I love fragrance and perfume). The best way I can describe the new scent is that it smells like the worst brand of laundry detergent. What did you do Aveeno, I trusted you! Oh well, I'll be switching to another brand.

I've used this product for 20 years. It was the perfect light scent. The new formulate scent gives me a headache. I won't be buying it anymore. It's a shame you lost a long time customer. I also noticed the change on the baby lotion. Even it is a stronger scent than what it was originally. Do you not care that customers loved the product as it was? Is it not important that you have customer satisfaction? I'm so disappointed.

How much profit and loyal customers does a company need to lose to wake up and bring back an old formula? That is the real question. Like everyone else, this lotion holds great sentimental value to me and used to smell incredible. It was part of my daily ritual for 10+ years and brought me great joy. I got all my friends to use it and with the reformulation we all are actively boycotting purchasing any Aveeno products- not that any of you guys clearly care so it won’t even matter anyways. #bitter I have never gone out of my way to post a negative review but here we are.

This stuff is great for your skin, but I personally think the lavender scent is TOO strong. I can't use much of this stuff because of the scent, as it causes me to get a headache after awhile. But it does leave your skin feeling very soft and smooth.

I've been a loyal fan of the Aveeno Calming Moisturizer for years. Years! I thought maybe I'd made a mistake and bought the wrong scent when I came home with my 2 massive jugs of this stuff. It smells like sour plastic with a faint scent of lavender. It is just not at all as pleasing as the old formulation that included chamomile and ylang ylang. I wish they wouldn't have monkeyed with such a superior product. Another case of ruining a product on the quest for a great profit margin, I guess. Not buying this again, but will keep checking the labels in hopes they come to their senses and return to the old formula.

The Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturizing lotion was my go to FAVORITE lotion. It was the perfect balance of oat, lavender, chamomile, and ylang ylang. Today I bought a bottle and noticed that it looked a little different but was called the same thing. I was so sad to find that they had completely changed the scent. It now smells like cheap baby wipe and chemicals and not good at all. Shouldn't have messed with this one it was top notch before. I would reccomend going for a different brand that is cheaper. No longer worth the price.
