Months ago, this rating would have been a 5 ++ star. However, the new scent is absolutely horrible. It was my morning, afternoon, at work, evening lotion. Calming and beautful soft scent. Not overpowering and barely noticeable. Now, as someone else stated, kind of smells like feminine scented pads. Tried it twice, thinking that maybe I just had to get use to it. Nope. It's terrible. Actually made me nauseous. I read somewhere that they changed the scent due to some people having sensitive skin reaction. I thought that's why you make the sensitive skin line. Anyway, if you ever go back to the original calming scent, please let me know!

Have been a faithful Aveeno Calming Stress Relief lavender Lotion user for years. The old formula had chamomile and ylang-ylang and smelled lovely. Used it every night before bed and really helped relax me. This new formula (with the brown lid) no longer has the chamomile and ylang-ylang and the lavender scent is completely different. It smells terrible now!!! I can't express enough how completely disappointed I am that this wonderful product has been ruined for what seems like no reason. Why change??? It was so good beforehand. Please go back to the old formula. I won't be buying anything from this company anymore unless they go back.

I was interested in getting some type of lotion with essential oils in it especially for stress and relaxation as that’s what I need relief from the most & this is definitely a product that I can say helps just relax my body after a long day and after a nice shower. I put it on in the evening to help me just unwind and help my body relax.

I had used this lotion for more than a year before the scent of the lotion in the larger bottles changed. The texture of the lotion has changed too, not as rich and moisturizing. The travel sizes are still the original but I’m no longer buying the large bottles, it’s not the same and smells more fake scented and chemical like. In my opinion, this lotion is now more similar to it’s cheaper competitors like Suave.

I had my 5th child 2 years ago,a bottle of Aveeno Stress Relief was given to me as a present.Perhaps because of the name,Stress Relief,I used this daily.This is absolutely the best lotion I had ever used.I had no real time to myself but I used this after every shower and at bedtime.It made my skin so smooth and the lavender and chamomile was so relaxing.I feel like I'm doing something nice for myself.Also the product itself seemed to last forever,I didn't have to put on tons of it,which saves me time and money.I still use it and love it.

I fell in love with the smell of this lotion the first time I bought it. I ordered a bigger bottle when I did my grocery order. When I put it on, I literally got nauseated by the smell. I looked at the bottle and it was not just Lavender like my previous bottle. This one has Chamomile and Ylang Ylang in it. Does not smell good at all. Even my 4 yr old granddaughter said eww it smells bad. Thinking the store gave me the wrong one, looked online and it showed they had the regular Lavender (only) scent. But when I drove to the store, nope, there was no Lavender only scent. I have checked a couple of other stores that show online they have it in the store, only to drive there and they are all the "new" scent. Chamomile and Ylang Ylang. Can you please PLEASE bring back the Lavender ONLY scent so I can buy it again...I LOVED it.

So, so disappointed in the change & deceptive as well to not let customers know there has been a change. I loved the lavender & this new prod smells more like cocoa butter (a cheaper scent to use?) & is thicker as well, I'm sure to have to use more. At least you put a diff color cap on. I had bought the body wash too & have taken it back, as it also had the brown cap, which tells me you've made changes in that formula as well & I'm sure not for the better ........ Aveeno can do better :(

I LOVED the old formula of the Lavender Stress Relief Lotion but I was running low and bought a new bottle. It smells completely different and reminiscent of baby wipes? The old scent was quite pleasant with lavender, ylang ylang, and camomile. The effect is different as well. The old formula felt cooling on my sensitive skin whereas the new formula didn't have this effect and felt slightly strange on my skin. Do not recommend.

My skin mostly has a dryness to itself but when I use this It gets soft as a pillow. Another thing I might get weekly a little bit of acne on my face but when I apply it on that area the acne disintegrates. Its great. But I wonder how it works wonders when it cost so little?

I'm very sensitive to scents and have purchased the Lotion with Lavender, Natural Oatmeal and Chamomile & Ylang-Ylang Essential Oils product for years because I truly liked the smell and it was a wonderful moisturizer leaving the skin soft. However, this new formula and scent are not even close to the old one and I do not find it remotely appealing. I will no longer buy this product. AVEENO, PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA OF STRESS RELIEF LOTION, THAT WAS JUST PERFECT. Why to change something that was working so well?
