As title states....nice Nintendo switch controller but $70 for it...it's over kill. Not sure if I'd spend the $$ like this again. There are some great quality generic brands out there for A LOT less $$. Disappointed for the $$ spent box wasn't in better shape.

THIS IS A FAKE CONTROLLER. All the signs are there. Wild connectivity / lag issues, funky packaging with a matte finish, clunky mechanical-feel buttons, inability to update the controller, just get stuck at 0% forever. Definitely a fake, didn't think it could happen to me. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.

NOT A REAL CONTROLLER. Packaging is very convincing at first glance, but as many other users have pointed out, this is not a real controller. "Controller" is spelled on the box as "Controll er", which I checked, is not present on any official box. Image quality on the box is also very low. The controller inside was very cheap, you can tell it's fake just by holding it.

The controller I received looked like a pro controller, it felt the same as my old one when I first opened it up. As soon as I started using it is when I noticed something was off, the vibration for this controller was CRAZY high, unlike the regular which only vibrate according to what you're doing in game. When I saw that, I then tried to use an amiibo card to see if the NFC reader would and that's when I found that this control didn't have one. I found it very suspicious and decided I would return it for a refund. Pay the regular amount for a real pro controller.

I didn't think I would like the pro controller and put off buying one for a long time. I never really played on the TV, but figured I might as well get it for the few times I did, so I didn't have to disconnect my joy-cons from the switch. I absolutely love it! I no longer play Splatoon 2 in handheld, and highly recommend a pro controller for anyone who uses docked mode a lot.

Purchased Nov 30th, 2022. This review isn’t for the Nintendo product itself, but the retailers that Walmart uses to fulfill the order. I purchased from two retailers Cocatos and KosasK which were both shipped using Chinese shipping companies. I believe that the products shipped were fake. You can tell because the spacing on the words used on the box were spaced differently than authentic box. Also the image quality was a little blurred. The controller looks and acts identical to the actual controller. Even has the Nintendo labeling but I don’t trust that these are genuine Nintendo products from these marketplace sellers. Buyer Beware.

Mi kid love this control because is wireless but also has a built in rechargeable battery. Construction seems heavy duty and he really motive the difference and increased quality of the product. I should not have expected less considering the high cost when compared to similar products.

Great controller for playing FPS on the Switch. Do you like hooking up your Switch to the TV and play? If yes, then this controller is a must buy! The controller is put together very well and feels good in my hands. My 11 year old daughter seems to use the Switch Pro Controller flawlessly when playing Fortnite. She does adjust the "keybinds" for the controller to fit her playing style in Fortnite and the on screen menu in Fortnite allows her to set the controller just right for her sensitivity and button mapping. I gave my testing a whirl on Zelda: Breath of the Wild and was able to at for 4 straight hours without any hand cramping or having to charge the battery. The controller is charged via USB-C and you can connect directly to the Switch dock to charge or use any USB-C cord to a charged. the Switch wall charger included with the Switch can also charge this controller directly, too. Overall, the up purchase has been worth it. We have not seen any drifting yet after 7 months of use. We did purchase the WalMart warranty an as we have had JoyCons break and replacement was fast and easy from WalMarts warranty center.

My son has been a Nintendo Switch owner for almost 2 years, and while he loves the joy-con controller and grip overall, sometimes he prefer a more reliable and "traditional" controller. I finally picked this controller for him as Christmas gift ( only this Nintendocontroller can make him happy for this Christmas) . He was totally excited to see this controller as gift under tree. This is one of the most comfortable controllers he ever had, which increases the enjoyment of my Switch games even more. The battery life is good, the layout makes sense, and it has built in motion-sensors for gyro-scope aiming, which comes in handy for games like "Splatoon 2" and "Zelda: Breath of the Wild." The only major downside to this controller is that the button layout for the "pause" and "home" buttons took a bit of time for him to get used to, partially since the color scheme can make the buttons look similar. Other than that, hes totally in love with this controller. the battery life is good, and the controller itself is very comfortable. He recommends choosing this controller for your switch. Controller that feels great! The controller is a little pricey, but more than worth it for a gamer like my son.

Recently, i got delivered my pro controller. It looked great when i unboxed it, but after a while of usage i started to notice a couple of things. The controller looks and feels well don't get me wrong but i noticed white chipping slowly coming out of the joysticks, then i checked the back panel of the controller, the Nintendo logo was off. It looked different than the actual Nintendo logo. Afterwards i checked the box, it doesn't show the Nintendo quality of seal which to me is very strange, it should have it. Looks can be deceiving, and for sure the controller did deceive me for a bit but i soon figured out it was a fake. I can't check if it has amiibo functionality since I don't own any amiibo myself. But otherwise it plays and feels great, very responsive but if it were real, I'd definitely give it a 4 or a 5, but looks can be deceiving so a 2 will do, thanks for reading.
