I would have given a 5 star except I really don't like this kind of packaging it comes in, because of the zipper top. It's too small! Hard to get the litter out without spilling half of it on the floor. Aside from that, really like the Febreze scent. Overall very good product.

Well, I didn't last two days with that different brand and went back to Fresh Step right away. Compared to others it smells amazing and it makes cleaning so much easier.

My cats and I love this litter! I've been using Fresh Step products for 5 years and have tried many other brands both generic and name, but they didn't work as well as Fresh Step. The Total Control with Febreze eliminates the odors very well. I have to admit that I didn't completely change the litter, only scooped daily and refilled as needed for nearly a month before I had to dump and refill the entire litter box. I wanted to see how long the fresh scent would last with 3 large cats using it (sadly I lost my male so I only have my 2 females). The 42 pound bag usually lasts me for 2 months so its a big savings over the smaller boxes. The dust is minimal . The only complaints I have is the 42 pound bag is very difficult to pour and carry due to the size and they do track it all over the house. .

Toileting issues with our cat forced us to put a litter box in the corner of our dining room. It's not an issue with us- never any odor. It can be kinda gross to other people, so we do move it with formal company or parties. But on a regular basis, someone will spot the litter box and comment,"I didn't know you had a cat". (The cat is not very social and hides when company arrives). You know the litter is doing it's job well, when a visible litter box has no odor!

I love Fresh Step Litter! I have 3 kitties, 2 senior and 1 teenager (a little over 1 yr). As recommended by vets, I have 4 litter boxes. They are in my garage which is off of the kitchen. The door is left opened at all times, well, except for when I am scooping. Last year I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and was having a hard time doing every day things. There were days when I just could not scoop. One week was particularly bad and it was 3 days before I was able to scoop. The boxes were pretty full, however there was no overwhelming odor. Now, I scoop first thing in the morning instead of waiting till the evening. Point is, I just love Fresh Step! Their advertising is not exaggerated, it truly does control odors, even if you cannot get to the box to scoop daily. Thank you for an awesome product!
