One of my cats is 13 and he has diabetes. So his urine is quite strong. Fresh step I don't smell his urine and it's nice to have all that extra litter on hand because I change the litter every other day.

This litter clumps extremely well! Usually have no issues with it breaking up into a million pieces. Cat likes it much better than pine pellets. It definitely would be nice if they had no scent though. All that is just chemicals that are bad for everyone including the animals.

We let our fur babies in more over the summer, this kitty litter makes cleaning the litter boxes so much easier. The clumping process is amazing, smell is nil to non! And I do not mind cleaning the litter boxes at all. Note lifting the bags make the process so much easier!

This is different then the Fresh step they have have always sold since I have been going to the club. It is so dusty it's terrible. The packaging is different and this new one has Febreeze listed on it. Not a fan,I'm very sad. Sam's, go back to the original please. I may have find a new place to shop.😔 I buy a lot of car stuff, I foster. I have a feeling I won't be the only person you lose..

This cat litter is miraculous. There is no odor detectable even if you're 6 inches from it. It doesnt have a heavy perfumey smell, either.I keep about 4 inches of litter in the box, scoop every other day, fill to 4 inches if needed, stir and thats it. I have never had to take all the litter out and wash the box. In 5 years I have never emptied the box, it stays clean with this clumping deoderized litter.. I wipe down the outside and edges but thats it. The only cat litter Ill ever use.

I’ve been a dedicated Fresh Step customer for years while running a small cat rescue with 20 cats at any given time. The original formula was perfect for my needs - it clumped reliably, controlled odors even with multiple litter boxes, and had minimal dust. The smaller bag sizes were also much easier for me to manage. Unfortunately, something changed with the formula, and I can no longer recommend this product. The odor control has noticeably declined, but the biggest issue is the dust. It’s now extremely dusty - so much so that every time I change out my boxes, the entire room ends up coated in a fine layer of litter dust that requires deep cleaning. With the number of cats I care for, this creates an enormous amount of extra work and isn’t healthy for me or the cats. While I appreciate that the packaging remains easy to handle at my age, the dust and reduced odor control are simply too significant to overlook. After years of loyalty to Fresh Step, I’m switching to Tidy Cats. It’s disappointing when a product you’ve trusted for so long changes for the worse. If you’re considering this litter, I’d suggest looking elsewhere unless they reformulate back to their original quality.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The cat litter is a well-known brand, so it's a good quality. There's no dust or scent. I checked around but could not find a better price anywhere. The weight is clearly displayed in the packaging, but for me, it was heavy to lift. Its convenient to have plenty of litter on hand.

This is the worst litter I’ve tried yet. It was recommended by a friend because she said it was not dusty at all and clumped really well. Well, it is so dusty I had a hard time cleaning her litter box. It takes forever because you have to let the dust settle. It also does not clump well at all. Unfortunately I have three of the 11 pound packages left to use up.
