We have been purchasing this Fresh Step litter for years. It has never been so awful and expensive! After one use by our cat, this litter turns to mud!!! I don’t know what has been done to it but it is unacceptable especially since the price has actually tripled! This is not the same product!!!!! We are extremely disappointed in this company!!!!!

This litter works far better than any litter should have to. MY kids refuse to clean the box. I am shocked and horrified by I see sometimes. Either Ive gone nose blind or it works great. NO one has ever said it smells like cat pee in here and I have asked flat out.

Fresh step is one of the better choices of clumping cat litter .Definitely longer lasting odor control , light weight and easier to scoop compared to other cat litter brands sold at Sam’s I enjoy the individual packaging of the bags . This convenience comes with an added price.

We let our fur babies in more over the summer, this kitty litter makes cleaning the litter boxes so much easier. The clumping process is amazing, smell is nil to non! And I do not mind cleaning the litter boxes at all. Note lifting the bags make the process so much easier!

We have 3 cats. We tried everything from an autocleaner to the low pan, the clumping, natural (sawdust), and clay. Nothing stemmed the odor except the orange natural but was discontinued years ago. So we finally paid the extra bucks for the fresh step. It is unbelievable!!! I used one bag in a deep pan that you can tip over to remove the clumps...that was okay but took a lot of work. So I just have the bottom part only and scoop daily. There is no smell at all. Relatives visit and ask if we got rid of the cats...

I have one cat left out of three. She is fifteen years old. All of my cats live to an old age. They are all indoor cats. Cat litter is a must. I have tried manly brands of cat litter over the years, and I have found Fresh Step cat litter to be the most reliable and consistently uniform over all that I have tried. That being said, all cat liters track through the house. Fresh Step is less prone than most to cling to cats feet. It is also more easily scooped because of it's finer grain than some bargain brands.

Fresh Step with Fabreze is by far the best cat litter I have found. I have 4 cats and 4 litter boxes. Fresh Step controls the odor so well that you would never know that have cats. I have tried cheaper cat litter brands but they did not compare with the effectiveness of Fresh Step. Fresh Step is worth paying a little more for.

When on sale, we find this to be a great value. We have multiple cats (lots of rehabilitated abandoned/feral cats ; please spay/neuter). It definitely keeps the odor down and clumps better than some of the lower cost brands. We use other brands when not on sale. We also like the fact that they are in small bags so carrying is easier. I waffled on the star rating but went lower because of the cost.

I bought this to try clumping litter. Before it was delivered, I happened to be in my local farm store and bought two bags of their brand clumping litter that was on sale. I began by using the farm store brand and decided before the first day was over that I would use clumping litter forever more! It works so much better. When the time came to top off the litter box with the litter I ordered, I have to say it didn’t seem to work quite as well as the cheaper stuff. It leaves behind little bits that didn’t clump. I’ll buy the cheaper litter and be happier with it.

This litter lasts a decent amount of time, the packaging makes it WAY easier to refill or top off without dumping the massive heavy box all at once & I have rebought this for months without fail because it leaves a nice mask to the odor without being overbearing. not dusty not crusty - very good choice & i am allergic or sensitive to E V E R Y T H I N G.
