Both my husband and I developed breathing issues because of this litter. The dust cloud is ridiculous and settled on everything in the room. We know for a fact that it's the litter because we moved it to another area and we could feel the difference immediately. Plus there's no way we started having seasonal allergies this time of year in Minnesota. There's NO WAY this is low dust. The reviews are so good, which is very confusing. Not sure if something changed recently, but this is the worst litter I've ever used.

Been trying different litters for a little while and this one, while it smells nice at first only lasts a short time before the foul smells take over. It clumps ok but can fall apart when scooping. It also tracks a bit around the litter box area. I have started using corncob based litter and would love to see Sam’s start carrying it. It clumps beautifully and eliminates odors far better than any typical clay litter.

I used to use Arm and Hammer, but the product seemed to change as the litter didn't clump and the smell was stronger. I found Fresh Step at Sam's. Without question, it was an improvement. I prefer unscented which wasn't available at the club, but the scented version isn't overwhelming. The clumping factor is excellent. I have used this product for more than six months and I am satisfied.

I have only given Fresh Step 3 stars due to the fact that when used by cat the urination is hard as a rock to remove from litter box! I clean it once or even twice a day if needed.so it is not because of letting it sit too long. This is the only complaint I have concerning Fresh Step.

Do yourself a solid! This is a much easier than trying to pour litter from a 44 lb. box or tub!! These are the serving size bags we didn’t know we needed! We have 3 cat boxes that get cleaned everyday so this just makes it so much easier. Wish I had stopped being so partial to the other litter i had been purchasing before.

I have used many different types of clumping cat litter but this one is really good and I will stick with this brand. It has a fresh scent that really helps to mask the odor, even though I clean the litter box frequently during the day, it definitely cuts down on the ammonia smell. Good price at Sam’s too. I just wish they didn’t use so much plastics to package the litter. It comes in a three pack, I’m in a state where there is little recycling done and I like to recycle as much as I can.

My cats have used this litter for years. Works great.

We change to this brand and the value is great! Smell is good and easy to scoop.
