I ran out of my good grass seed. This was readily available. I will never use this product again. Not one single blade of grass from the entire container! The good quality seed right next to where this was used grew quickly and thick. Same sun, shade, water, dirt, etc. I have not been a fan of scotts brand for years, this has turned me against the products for good.

Doesn't work! I actually bought a couple of these and wish I had only bought one because I used it and it didn't work. I have a big bag I bought at the same time that is too late to return to the store but seeing as the kind in the jug didn't work, I have no doubt the bag won't either. It's a shame because I really like all other Scotts products. We've been complimented on our lawn before and I say it's because I use the Scotts Turfbuilder several times a year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The side of the house, deals with runoff from hard rains, so grass growing there goes away pretty quickly. I wanted to see if I could make some moves to bring grass back to that locations. It took me over a week, being disabled, to prep that small area, and my neighbor actually helped me bring mulch to that area as well, to try and slow down the rainwater. That was certainly a blessing. After all the prep work, I opened up the Scotts EZ Seed Patch & Repair Tall Fescue, and took my time pouring it out. I wasn't sure if it was taking, but I watered it like I was supposed to. It took about 2-3 weeks before I saw real growth, and it seems I now have a chance at changing that area from dirt and moss, back to grass. Only time, and if I came up with a real solution to slowing down the rain runoff, well tell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a cold wet spring and I've had to relay a lot of yard work, but now that it's warmed up and dried out I could finally begin yardwork. After prepping the area and seeding it in, it began showing sprouts pretty fast. Easy to.use product.

I prepared the area to be reseeded as per instructions. After 2 weeks there was only a 20% germination at most. I again prepared the area even using Scotts top soil. After 17 days there was zero germination. The area was prepared correctly and watered as it needed. In the fall I will go to plan B.

I have used this product in previous years but this occasion it did not give me the same results. I prepared the bare spots before sprinkling the containers seed mixture and watered in for several weeks but nothing grew. Not sure if the product was old, out of date, mixed differently, or my preparation was inadequate. Hoping for Better results next time.

Had a tree removed from yard. Year after year had a spot there that would never grow grass. It would be very brown in that spot too. Once I used Scotts EZ seed the spot is green and thick. That spot has been perfect for a long time and I have not had to reapply the product. It is great and use it in other areas too.

I recently had the city out and drove heavy equipment through my yard They put down some generic grass seed that was very patchy, and looked horrible. There were so many spots, that I really didnt want to try and put down dirt seed and fertilizer. I purchased EZ Seed by Scotts and gave it water for 7 days. I was amazed to see growth in that short of time. MY grass looks great and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks Scotts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a section of my lawn that a rabbit tore up building a nest. It had been very dry here and the rabbit could not dig a hole so it took all of the grass from a section of my lawn and piled it in my wife's flower bed. I applied Scotts EZ Seed Patch and Repair and kept it moist. The new grass started sprouting in just a few days. It's nice when a product works as you hope it will and this one did.

I am watering everyday when I see that the color turns to a lite brown color. Like I am just following the instruction and still nothing. Hopefully grass starts growing soon.
