[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I simple mixed the entire bag of seed with some Scotts Topsoil in a wheel barrel and then loosened up the ground in my corner of my yard and dumped it on.... seeds germinated in less then 14 days and has sprouts fast, actually grew in thicker then the rest of my lawn !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cut my grass yesterday, but I didn't cut my repaired patch ... yet! I am giving all of those thriving deep green blades a chance to get 6 inches high. This area gets thirsty in the droughts because it is below oaks and those thick mats of roots lie a couple of inches below the surface. In preparation, I used an aerator to loosen the soil and get some water down deep. I spread the EZ Seed as directed, watered thoroughly, and have been helped out by some regular good rain. It looks so good, I was tempted to mow, but as directed, I am letting those thickets develop. When this stand is a little mature, I plan to repeat the process in some other spots. This way I can focus my attention on 1 area at a time.

I was hoping to reapiar a bare area in my yard that was damaged from all of the rain from last year. I raked and losseend existing soil. Added a small amout of top soil. I bought the 20 pound bags and a 10 pound bag for the area. Spread the EZ seed evenly and covered the entire area. Watered the first 3 days and then we have had regular rain since then. It has been 3 weeks and I have a few small patches and nothing else to show for it. Will be buying sod to resolve this issue. How do I collect on the guarantee?

We had a section of our lawn where grass just wouldn't grow. We had new soil added and re-seeded it, but it still had many patches of bare spots and seeding them just didn't work. So last fall we put down EZ Seed in all the spots. This year we have a very plush and green lawn where we've never been able to grow grass before. It was a bit more expensive, but it worked!!

In full sun and with heat over 90 many days and while away for extended time, grass did not germinate as I was unable to ensure that seeded area was always moist. Received this seed to late in growing season, needed to be put down in late April or May to take advantage of cooler temperatures and more rain.

My lawn has never looked better and I used the seed in both shady and sunny areas of the yard and it works fantastic in both areas I definitely will use this product again if needed.

Very simple to use, but you must be sure to keep the area moist as indicated by the color of the mulch. Also, I find better results when applied in late summer/early fall. The cool nights seem to hepl the growing process. All in all , well worth buying !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now this is an awesome way to patch your lawn. I had grass sprouting in 4 days. It has been a full week now and the grass is filling in very nicely. We had the end caps of drain field dug up and used this to repair the lawn damage. The grass is a very nice deep green color. The mulch is a great indicator when you should water. I had to water the patches 3 times a day to keep the mulch moist. The results were well worth the effort.

I have used this product in previous years but this occasion it did not give me the same results. I prepared the bare spots before sprinkling the containers seed mixture and watered in for several weeks but nothing grew. Not sure if the product was old, out of date, mixed differently, or my preparation was inadequate. Hoping for Better results next time.
