I have been using this toothbrush for years; it clean very well and the battery lasts quite a while. However, at some point the design changed for the way the battery sits inside the brush, and when I try to change the battery, it's impossible not to bend the lower contact permanently, which means instead of replacing batteries and toothbrush heads, I have to replace the entire toothbrush. I feel that this is a waste of both money and resources. I hope the battery compartment can be changed to avoid this!

I have been using this toothbrush for several years - I love it. It's one of the best battery powered toothbrushes I've ever found and I've tried a number of electric toothbrushes, including those that go on the charging base - those brush heads don't do what this brush does. Now the store where I was buying them doesn't carry them anymore and it appears as if it's not available in any stores in the Los Angeles area. I went into panic-mode the other night, but I guess I can order them online, but will have to pay shipping. :( Phooey!

I’ve been using this brush for awhile, probably 8-10 years. I’m on my 2nd one cuz as another user mentioned, the head became a little difficult to remove, which I attributed to slight amount of residue from a small amount of part of the toothpaste that will remain under the head after rinsing it off, which will build up/gather slightly enough to fill the gaps of the guides that the head slides into then locks. I did however figure out that when I remove the old head I use the brush to clean away all the dusty residue that has gathered in that area & works like a charm. The other thing I have done is start to use rechargable batteries in the toothbrush, since I do use rechargable AA & AAA batteries in other things like a TV remote, flashlights, etc...

This is the best toothbrush of any electric or battery operated toothbrush I have ever used. It has a large head which is so much better than the smaller toothbrush heads because it allows you to reach more of your mouth at once and no matter which way you are going in your mouth you can get more than one small section at a time.

The heads are impossible to get off for replacement. I found a video that recommended using the time of a fork to depress the tab to remove. I am now sitting here with a bloody finger as I stabbed myself with the fork and will likely need a tetanus shot.

I was disappointed that the new L7811 does not have a cover like the last time. I will not be buying them again unless you get covers back. Also disappointed that it says they are made in Mexico instead of US. I need to start looking better at products.

This is a really good toothbrush but the issue I have is when I needed to change the batteries, it was not an easy task and one I was able to get them changed, the toothbrush would not work once I put the cap back on but if I remove the cap and touch the batteries it would work. So this task needs to be easier and work once the batteries are changed

Purchased for elderly woman on her Dentist's advice. She can't use the off-switch so we got a cheaper brand that is easy for her to use. This would be a very good brush for most people, but not for elderly or others with limited strength in fingers. The off switch seems to be part of a toggle that is under a protective plastic cover and located in a recessed area of handle. If you can't push down in the exact angle and location, you can't turn it off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had compliments on the "perfectness" of my teeth my teeth ever since my first 10 permanent teeth grew in. I have been told by hygienist and Dentist's how straight and outstandingly white they are and they asked me where I had my braces and how long I had them. When I say that I never did, they snickered and walk away. Any how my dentist asked if anyone had driven me to the dentist appt, because I was going to be getting put in a "twilight" mode because I cant relax with someone else in my mouth when I told them that my mom was with me they said great and walked out of my exam room. The dentist walked out located my mom and said to my mom, Jennifer told us she never had braces and we weren't sure since I had already been given a minimal amt. of anesthesia if she was correct in saying this, my mother proceeded to tell them yes and their jaws dropped. They told my mom that I had the cleanest healthiest mouth that they had ever seen in all 33 yrs of his service. And I told him that I have always used Oral-B toothbrushes and crest toothpaste and mouthwash

I purchased this product in February of 2019 and to my surprise the last week of that same month my batteries had to be replaced. I decided to give it the benefit of doubt however, the last week in March my batteries had to be replaced again. I’ve never been one to write bad reviews on products but I’m completely dissatised with this product. I’m a quadriplegic with limited use of my hands so it’s very important to me to have a toothbrush I can depend on. Unfortunately with this specific product that was not the case.
